NIP hasn’t been relevant since 2017 when they won IEM Oakland with Xizt In game leading, that’s pretty insane.
And even then it was only because f0rest and Rez were HARD carrying.

If you cared about your teams you would've had donk on your radar since he knocked your academy team out of WePlay Academy League Season 5 A YEAR AND A HALF AGO and then almost did it AGAIN THE NEXT SEASON. EVERYONE's heard of him since then. Personally I'm glad that threat is back but he is definitely not the last missing piece of the NiP puzzle.
They're completely out of touch otherwise they would've known about Donk. Several top teams literally made offers to him :D

Hela deras satsning på Young Ninjas har resulterat i Metizport. Ägarna av Metizport måste vara supernöjda. NIP mer eller mindre betalade för utvecklingen av det laget, utan att själva dra fördel av den investeringen.
Ännu roligare att se denna efter idag när nip torskar alltså alla matcher för att kvala in sig till en major. Alex med 6 kills på två kartor och 8 rundor totalt mot ett tier 3 gäng. Komiskt.

Getting alex over cadian was absolute stupiditity.
yapp yapp yapp just for the results and team performance to be once again mediocre. fumbling over and over again. "need more time" look at the performance from ence and heroic, both teams gutted but still preformed great

cadian prob just didnt want to sign and rather go to liquid (i mean who wouldnt) and they just putting emphasis on headtr1ck being an awper to make them look better for not getting cadian haha

can anyone explain to me why so many people wants a full swedish team? is it a nationalist things, do they perform better together or what? i looking at other teams with mixed different countries in them and they perform great.
NIP has always been swedish and they built their whole brand on being swedish. Like I get the argument that new times are coming and everything can't stay the same forever. But at the same time NIP went international and somehow built a worse team than they did during the swedish roster days. If they had some patience and looked at the amount of talents that came up during the major they could build a Swedish team that is much better than their current
NIP is just totally lost. They don't know which direction to go.
The NiP brand we used to know since the beginning of competitive CS Back in 2001 was built around being Swedish or in some occasions having players from the Scandinavian/Nordic countries countries like they had with Dev1ce(Denmark),Xeqtr(Norwegian player in cs 1.6),AleskiB and Allu(Finland). The issue with NiP is that they have built a very poorly thought out international roster where players roles are so conflicted and worse is absolutely not even getting close to qualifying

I have the feeling that you keep the players only because of nostalgia and because you remember the time when they were good.
Every of these players except headtrick passed their primes long ago. (Also idk about alex i never watched Movistar Riders i know they were solid roster)
Last time konfig was consistantly good is 2020 or smth like that.
Last time Rez was consistantly good is 2017/18
Last time es3tag was good is unknown , he was never good he was always average player.
There's hundreds of young talents on the scene who wants to prove themselves and doesn't require high salaries , you have nothing to lose cus it can't be worse than this.

You don't seem to watch alot of CS. Because then you would have known, REZ is always consistantly good (that is his only attribute). K0nfig has the same attribute as REZ. es3tag has always been a average player stats wise but when it comes to anchoring he has always been outstanding. Alex is a typical player boost IGL, he makes the best out of the players he have. Which hopefully means that the "good" "decent" consistancy players in NiP should have a higher ceiling which in turns means that you have a decent IGL (fragwise), 3 really good consistant players and a awper that have a really high skill ceiling. Alex just needs to fit the team as long as the team listens and adapts.

Literally what's the point of having an international team if you don't go for exceptional talents? Having mid players with role conflicts is just a recipe for disaster.
If you're gonna go for the mid route, at least go back to being a full swedish lineup and try to build up swedish cs again.

Proceeds to gut any and all swedish identity that NIP ever had, to pick up a team that couldn't even perform if the enemies were black out drunk. Disgrace tbh, NIP was supposed to be a home for Swedish cs and a place for it to grow, now it's just sellouts.
I'm not Swedish myself, but I loved NiP for most of its life, up until these drastic changes started.
bringing in cadian wouldn't impact headtricks role. He was the secondary awper of Navi junior, just give him a rifle and have a good awper and igl in the same player...

Bro they need to change whole roster literally , everyone in this roster are not motivated and depressed.
Not just a roster change but also needs a complete overhaul of the org
The current CS team is so so poorly run and it’s not even the players’ fault
They have no basis to built for the players to build on,decision makings are so rush,no direction or goals even short terms
Worse is they’ve built an environment that is so toxic,depressing and demotivating for any players.

I think we all would like to know why REZ has never been the one on the cut, why? i have nothing against the dude but he has had equally as many flaws and bad games as brollan and all the others that has gotten benched.
NONE of the players have been the issue imo...how many roster swaps does it take ffs? It's the crew behind the scenes. Maybe they cultivate an atmosphere that is TOO easy going?
imo it's because he's never been the MAIN problem
let's start with the 2020 lineup with twist, nawwk, hampus, plopski and rez, where twist was underperforming (rez was the highest rated player in that lineup), so they brough in ztr for him
then they added dev1ce for nawwk, also rez was good
then ztr was playing badly, so they replaced him with ztr (rez was the 2nd highest rated player then, after dev1ce)
then lnz was playing badly, and they added es3tag (again rez was good)
then dev1ce went on a medical leave, so they used phzy as a stand-in, and eventually brought in brollan (again rez the highest rated player in the phzy lineup)
then it was -plopski +aleksib, mission free-up hampus (rez was the 2nd highest rated, after brollan, -plopski was obvious, as he was playing poorly)
then -es3tag +headtr1ck (they needed to add an awper, this is when rez arguably could've been cut, due to role issues and a lack of supporting element)
then hampus left on a medical leave and they added k0nfig (forced change)
then -aleksib +hampus (should've cut either brollan or k0nfig, due to role clash between them, again rez safe + he was forced to play supportive roles)
then -brollan -hampus +es3tag +alex (role-wise makes sense, role-clash between brollan and k0nfig resolved and a supportive player added, rez definetly shouldn't have been removed)
@@kubinho_o they could have easily benched Rez instead of Brollan and Rhen brought Es3tag in.
Alex kanske var bra i movistar av just den anledningen, att dom pratade spanska. Helt oprövad internationellt och hans engelska är ”sådär” at best

Uh, if you use Donk as a good example of "someone that you probably wouldn't know about a few months back"... Then I'm sorry to break this to you, but you are indeed 5 steps behind, if not more. All sorts of promising players cause ripples in the scene, but Donk's been causing tidal waves since his academy league days. At very latest, anyone involved in the scene in any way should be aware of him since Spirit promoted three of their academy players into the main roster, which was in summer 2023. If you don't know the brightest young superstar of the game then what are you doing managing a CS team?
I fear you guys have a lot of issues that are honestly so so big that at this rate it will take even more than a year(January 2025 as you target) to work and worse is other than the goal of winning tournaments,what direction you guys wanna go is so unclear
Like you just benched DJL(coach),Konfig,es3tag and Headtr1ck sure they weren’t great but the setup and environment wasn’t there. Fast forward now you’re heading into a tournament with absolutely no permanent roster other than the lads from Young Ninjas with Rez and Alex,which I feel they’re being thrown into the deep end.
