I remember being traumatized by the game Prince of Persia sand of time when they first show the under enemies. I was like 9 when I first played the game after seeing those undead for the first time I didn't play the game for like 2 weeks then I grew some balls and beat the game

I absolutely agree. Gen 4 will forever be my favorite gen between Platinum & Soul Sliver. And that was the gen that produced Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky.

The last time I replayed the game was during chuggaaconroy’s walkthrough of it then my game corrupted. Im so sad bc it had the perfect team (i finally caught the elusive feebas I was never able to catch as a child). Rip Milotic 😢

@@PokeTips Time really flies doesn't it? When my mom bought this game for me in 2008, I played it nonstop for weeks on end, mom had to take it away from me since I'd be playing it at the dinner table.
I opened up my Platinum game and it showed I had over 600 hours of gameplay. Like damn. Thats how hooked I was on this game and why I considered it to be my favorite out of the Pokemon games.

Pokemon Platinum was my very first pokemon game and it is very special to me.
I was so excited when it came out and even got the version with a figure. But I've got sick and threw up in the store's toilet. So Platinum always reminds me of that expirence I had
One thing I really loved about the diamond, pearl, and platinum games was the digging you could do in the caves below the cities! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
FINALLY! I have been waiting 3000 years for this video.
I got my copy of Platinum for my 7th birthday so it took me a little longer to defeat the game but I finished around 75 hours and I just got 150 hours on it yesterday, good memories.
Of all games platinum holds closest to my heart, so much nostalgia

Always so cool to look back on old game files and see what was going on. With Gen 4 I never EVER beat the game... the only gen I never beat. I hope one day we get a remake of it so I can finally beat it.

yooo when you were 11 you beat the game in 5 days? When I was 11 I would be on the way to the Pokemon League(after 30000) days holding a lvl 72 starter and 5 other lvl 20 pokemons.

2008 was such a good year for me. I played platinum religiously. I wish I still had my original copy I put atleast 350 hours in. My wife and I loved doing the underground stuff together.

This was the first Pokemon game I ever played. My team was Infernape,Gallade,Spritomb,Gyrados,Altaria and Girantina.
I remember ordering the Japanese version of SoulSilver. I beat it since it was a remake and I've played GSC so I knew what to do

Been playing it in Japanese since Diamond (prior to the English version coming out, repeated the process until Gen 6), ordered Emerald to go with it. Eventually went and got Gen 1/2 afterward. Have played as much in Japanese as I have in English.
Used it to teach myself to read Hiragana and Katakana.

I was asking myself how you managed too beat the entire game that fast in Japanese and I remembered that my 100s of file restarts on diamond would make it way easier to burn through the story. I actually bought the strategy guide for plat when it came out and beat the entire game in the first two days I had it. I got it on a Friday night and beat it on a Sunday night. I remember I was so excited to catch the legendary pokemon knowing what they were already so I was hungry for them. Needless to say plat was imo the second best pokemon game to ever be released. Obviously heart gold and soul silver are the best games but I will never forget the adventure I had and I'm glad I found your page I'm a little late to the party (3 years) but at 29 years old it's never to late to join the pokemon community. Thanks for the awesome content can't wait to "WATCH THEM ALL"
I have been out of my pokèmon phase for months but this made me play today again.
I always loved Pokémon, but when I was a kid, a kid like me living in a 3rd rate country no allowance, no birthday money, never played anypokemon games on console, but I watch every single episodes in pokemon back then.
Now I'm 21 years old, and yes I can afford buying stuffs now, I actually bought a 3ds and switch just to play Pokémon that I can't play when I was a kid, I have pc too, but playing pokemon on the go is so much better, but then covid-19 came.
I had that Toys 'r Us Dragonite at one point sadly it's long gone :(

Pokémon Platinum was my first Pokémon game... sometimes I wish i started with pearl or diamond, but honestly platinum is still one of my favorites to this day.
Bruh these days were the best fosho. I remember playing pokemon with friends and we had the best fun. Now I'm 16 and I miss those days sm.

@@aquacius_ Probably my favorite gen after gen 5 and gen 3. Best route themes, second favorite OST, Good Pokémon (although almost everyone's team is the same). Good elite 4 and best champion. I'm not a big fan of the region because of the giant mountain and the weather but I really liked the game.
