The guy that put himself at 5 is so my type of guy that I got scared, that chill fit but still wit swag is exactly what I find attractive
This was a virtue signalling competition rather than the best outfit... the outfit was just a disorganized and ugly orgy of rainbow, the feminization of American culture and aesthetics is just going to make men more weak, and a laughing stock to the rest of the World.
As the Eastern Asian nations like China promotes more masculinity for a stronger and healthier male population, the West does the opposite, and believe you me, the consequences shall be disastrous. As if the fertility rate of Western nations is not bad enough, now this nonsense has to hinder it too.

The thing is that the outfits are so different, it’s like comparing different kinds of foods. It’s kinda ranked on intention, but intention isn’t necessarily fashion for everyone. It’s really hard to choose what’s fashionable other than what you would wear.

1: Red hat - just cool asf
2: Suit - looks really clean and he suits it really well
3: White hat - Again, really cool and he rocks it
4: Green Shirt - A little on the simpler side so he’s lower, but if I was a guy this is probably the style I’d be going for.
5: Rainbow - I’m not a huge fan of bright and extravagant styles personally. I’m all for men wearing feminine clothes and I think it’s really hot when guys broaden their views and try a more feminine style without losing their masculinity, but this outfit is kinda ugly

If their definition of fashion was based on care and consideration like they stated, then Sean made sense. He put a ton of consideration into coordinating his colors- his accent socks matched the blue on his sleeves, the primary colors all matched between his hairclips, his bold eyeliner, AND his nail polish, etc. It was a very coordinated look that was intentional and could be on a magazine.

I guess the argument that could be made (subjectively) is that Sean gave himself more of a challenge by trying to coordinate a ton of different accessories and colors in a way that is much more unique. It’s like trying to compare a classical oil painting to a Mondrian or some other abstract work (and I don’t want to hear complaints about how abstraction isn’t real art).
The classical is tried and true, it takes careful understanding of proportions and technique. You recognize it as art/fashion the moment you see it, BUT it doesn’t challenge that definition, AT LEAST not today.
The abstract art (IF it’s good) is bold and controversial. Some will hate it and some will love it. It LOOKS like there’s no sense or reason but the truth is that the artist has chosen those colors carefully and with purpose. You might complain if you see it in a museum, but it will have critics thinking and scratching their heads. It pushes boundaries.

Yeah i liked him a lot, for me he was 1. Colorful one was 5 to me. It is an intenrion, and it is a specific style but it doesn't speak to me. It's way too loud for my taste. I was equally conflicted with suit. It's a great suit, but it's hard to place it at the top because it's not really casual.

Actually i could see how fashion can be considered confidence- Technically fashion was identified in people expressing themselves, and an admirable trait in that is confidence.

What actually would be interesting, is giving the contestants a brief and then ranking on how well it was executed; reduces the bias of personal style preference.

@@venetiachatzivasileiadou7741 I feel like in situations like these, a group discussion, usually the loudest ones or the ones who voice their opinions more often (even though their opinion might not be the most righteous) are the ones that other people in the group tend to grip onto, and it's just the way of life, while you're in the situation, the conversation is carried by the loud person, however for us watching from the outside we can have a more unbiased clear look at things, that's why I think jubilee adding a voting poll for videos like these would make for an interesting discovery of how people really think, i mean im pretty sure that's the whole point for these videos

@Adam Jamaleddin I think this is where the whole idea behind the show comes in. Everyone has their own sense of fashion and appreciation of others choices. Personally I liked his outfit because of the obvious time and effort he spent coordinating it, but it’s really up to the group. I liked how confident everyone was in their own fits. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but personally I saw each outfit as special in its own way because they all looked and seemed confident and happy in their own skin. Idk, I totally get what you’re saying but I do think a lot of people genuinely liked his outfit, myself included. Maybe I have bias, I love colorful and confident people haha

Suits are also anyone’s type of style given the occasion. Any of them could have found an extremely similar suit in their closet vs. wearing pieces no one else would or could. The guy on suit did a great job. Most men are not able to dress up that well in a suit.
It's not just putting it on. Fit has to be precise. The pattern is greatt. Shirt color and collar are to be well chosen. Belt leather has to match the shoes in color but not perfectly. Belt loop has to match other metals like that golden watch. Shoe style is very important, in that case a loafer to keep the outfit more casual together with the open shirt with a perfect amount of unbuttoned buttons and the no show socks.
Everything was well thought and perfectly executed.
