With all due respect to Dr., i wish he could have mentioned that Allah does indeed forgive major sins but one has to repent to Allah about them. Seek forgiveness from Allah, vow never to do them again and try never to do them again...and if we sin again..we repeat the same process of seeking forgiveness and this continues till we die. As the Prophet peace be upon him said in an hadees whose meaning is the best of sinners are those who repent. I feel this should have been mentioned.
