I miss that Intercontinental title belt. Looked way cooler than most of the modern era belts. Gunther/Walter with his one IC title reign, made it feel important again and broke the Honky Tonk Man's 454 days record with 666 days as IC champion
Yeah, it seems like longer reigns have been the norm once again. That's cool, two month long reigns are two short in my opinion. I also like the older belt designs. The oval IC is probably my favorite since its what I grew up watching.
@@beanomac3126 9 to 10 months title reigns is a decent amount of time. Especially if the reign is booked right with banger matches. Title belts these days in WWE are almost all same basic design. Main plate and two side plates for custom logos.
@@rdpruett88 yeah I totally agree. When JBL did it was extraordinary! I don't understand the universal design of modern WWE but I don't watch it anymore anyway.
