I think for a lot of people Nobara represented a "Sakura (Naruto) done right" and seemed to have the most potential for growth. A credit to Gege is that he showcases this in her arcs, and so it feels like a hammer blow when she becomes an example of how anyone can die.
And I think that's what happened, Gege thought "I need to show mortality" but runs into the problem with that thinking...he has to kill someone with gravity...but he can't drop Megumi, or Gojo for example at that point in the story. It became Nanami and Nobara...and Nobara, unlike Nanami, Nobara hasn't even grown to her potential yet.
I like JJK anyway, and even enjoy the unique way Gege approaches his character focus...but a price is paid, and that price is characters like Tamaki and Nobara.

Gojo barely had any interaction with nobara throughout the series so him having no reaction to her death is within his character

Not really though? As just because we didn’t see it, doesn’t mean he didn’t have quite amount of interactions with her. Maybe not by themselves but as a group, he interacted with her quite a bit for it to be weird that he didn’t react about it like how he did with Nanami

@@SeaTactics I mean, he didn't react to Yuji's death other than handing his body over to Shoko for experimentation and dissection, this isn't a new thing nor is it really weird, he is outwardly numb to death.

Damn I really liked Nobara, she was like the second coming of Noelle from Black Clover. A really well written female character. She wasn't just a soulless fan service bot, but an actual character with growth and their own moments to shine.

Nobara is definitely one of the biggest fumbles by Gege, for how her potential was cut short so early before she really did that much and how her "death" was handled.
He never wanted to create her in the first place, he was forced to add her to the story

But he never said Nobara was an editor choice, it's just a false rumor that got spread around and people eventually thought it was true. If you have a legit source where it's stated that Nobara was an editor choice then I'm all ears

He still left it open too, bloody troll. My head canon is that she’s alive but something about her injury made her unable to continue as an active sorcerer. That’s why the other characters are nonchalant about it, she didn’t die.

Guys, he already confirmed she died in Shibuya back in another interview so idk what we all surprised about. What matters is what comes next, if they are able to revive her or not, that's always been the question. No breath, no heartbeat=dead but she is in stasis rn so no decay, nothing changed, keep holding the line Nobara PR team

In my opinion Nobara serves as a good example of wasted potential character. Her main role was to serve as a plot device for the MC and as a prop so people can buy merchandise, cosplays and figures of her. This is a fact,

Final arc for nobara is crazy when she didn’t even have an arc to begin with. We got all of her life story in a flash back before she died. Like i get having creative differences while developing a story but the fall off of the writing in some of these animes have to be studied.

If he wanted to kill her off, he shouldn’t have kept her alive and in stasis. He might have made his choice to kill her off, but he’s unintentionally left it open to retcon what happened to her. And might considering fan reception to the news.

I actually like that jjk is not MC-centric because it feels so unrealistic that the MC solve every problem.
The only reason I got hooked on JJK was Yuji's design Idk he looked really cool and his original blonde hair caught my eye more than his pink hair lol Nobara's design is cool don't get me wrong, but if any female design caught my eye it had to be Maki's. Even new readers to jjk I know started reading because they saw post Shibuya Maki, then again this is my bias and opinion lol!!!

Saying something was decided when it hasn't been blatantly made fact doesn't mean it's going to continue to be the case. I mean a change of heart can happen when the doors been left open for it too happen. And clearly in this case it has. And it has been for a long time. There's been ample chance to close the door on her but it's always been left open. Did he regret the decision right away? It seems that way. Could he resolve it? It seems that way.
We should just let gege write his horror manga
The problem with jjk writing is that it starts slow and then when nobara gets Introduced its fast and its structured horrible there should be more one off episodes Structured more like cowboy bebop and evangelion where we see the characters on missions because in the whole we only see 8 missions and that may sound alot but there so far apart from one and other that kinda makes it kinda a after thought even tho that's the whole point of jujutsu sorcerery and we can more deep characters moments there a reason why someone like nobara & gojo are the most analyzed characters in jjk because we see little characters moments them like how gojo was talking to megumi in a flash back and nobara telling yuji that sometimes it's ok to kill if necessary but those are just little Scraps of their character and who are they underneath their personality I think something like cowboy bebop and how they handle their characters where we get episodes all about one of the characters or sometimes two characters that don't interact but have a similar past imagine like a gojo and nobara episode about gojo kinda acts like a father figure to nobara and maybe sharing some details about one and other because we know that gojo cares about his students and they can play on the fact that all of his students don't have a father figure in there life and gojo really is the closest they have (but i don't know im just spit balling here also sorry if this doesn't make sense I)
Watch she comes back with the next few weeks in the manga. He's definitely trolling

This is why I stopped watching this series. The fact people praised jjk for their female characters and how they were written vs other Shonen when it seems all strong female characters but one are destined to die is just crazy for me. I will never revisit jjk unless nobara returns and that is the resolve I have chosen. Tbh Jjk has given me Shonen fatigue and so I have been taking a break from Shonen for a bit and have been actually loving life a little more without it lol!
I think GeGe regrets killing Nobara and Gojo and doesn’t know how to correct his mistakes this far into the game. It’s almost sad seeing him and his creation struggle this bad.

Gege writes women pretty badly. At times it feels like he is a bit sexist. I personally think he’s just unfamiliar with women. So he struggles to comprehend them and poorly represents them in the series.

Honestly it seems like the author is coming off as an asshole at this point the problem happens when u just start killing characters off for no reason and alot of people get attached to these characters and when writers take them out the story it makes the audience/readers lose motivation to even want to continue on with the story and they'll just move on to something else

Most shonen trios with at least a guy and girl are never better written at all. Spy x Family or Black Clover are best representations of a shonen trio. Even though they are not in a squad together all of them got enough focus in the series. If we go by non shonen trios like AOT, Monsterverse, DC, Star Wars, and Castlevania series: these trios are more iconic than whatever JJK supposed to be.

Nobara actually could easily 1 v 1 sukuna. I’m not even simping or joking. Her straw doll technique can make her easily spam attacks against Sukuna without having to be in a dangerous proximity to him. She had to die otherwise Sukuna would not feel like a final villain.

Maybe instead of a recorder with Inumaki saying "don't move" having resonance stun sukuna to let Yuta use Hollow Purple would have been way more hype. don't you agree?
