#105 HSR42 42mm Mikuni carburetor rebuild and install 1200 Sportster Harley XL 1990-03
see what it takes to take an eBay HSR42 42mm Mikuni carburetor and install it onto an 1200 883 evo sportster.
after that i installed a new dyna 2000i ultima ignition to really start to make some power.
lots of problems to watch as i work them out.

you guys don't know how lucky you are to have somebody like Tatro who will take the time to give you the custom stuff that you want... and explain it to you.. I mean I know you're paying for it, but he's making sure and going over and above to make all this stuff work for you,, a lot of guys won't do that they'll just get it,, slap it on and say there you go.... that's four times that I've seen him take that carburetor apart to make sure it's right.. I just hope you're keeping his fridge full your a lucky bunch of guys...appreciate while you can... Bravo' Tatro....

izzynutz2000 true that! Custom work always takes more time; I avoided anything non-OEM like the freakin' plague... sure, I could do it, but working on stock stuff *always* goes faster (read: made me more money).
Bottom line: this guy's getting good work AND lessons; I hope he is gonna' understand the value here!

I have a 1974 sportster xl and I was thinking about modifying the manifold and making it fit.
