Welcome to TomFM! In today's Football Manager 2021 experiment video I'm removing every owner, player and manager from the Premier League in FM21. All the players are being released from their contracts and are now free agents, free to be signed by any club in the world! How will the teams fare with no owners, staff or players in this FM21 Experiment?

Tom, this happens in all of these versions. When the budgets are announced, because there are no players and staff it sets every club to pretty much no budget and therefore you can’t sign anyone including managers. You need to keep on top of it within the first transfer window to allow teams to sign people.
Look at your screenshots again with the money on, the teams have no wage budget!! Liverpool’s wage budget was only 100k!!
If that's true I hope he does it again.
@@genekwagmyrsingh9433 very true, look on the video and see the teams wage budgets, they are decimated
Yea this is because one of the attributes you can see in the game editor is "available budget" which is a separate value to the current budget with all the current players signed. So when all the players are taken away this is then the value used as the overall buget

I think the reason why Norwich did so good, is that they had Pep as mannager
I thought that the super league six would sign all the free agents! Norwich getting to a champions league final is the most bizarre
You gotta assume that to some degree it's how they model how aggressive teams are in the market. Hence Arsenal buying next to no one and City filling out a full team. I assume that's what accounts for that phenomenon.

i know i'm a late arrivel to this video, very late, but if you ever do that kind of thing again in FM 23 or something, there's really not much point of removing a owner and not changing the clubs financial/income/budgets etc... as long as those remain, regardless of who the game put in as a new owner, they would still be top of the leagues.

@@Nitehawkmk77 everything! i also force convert a lot of the youngsters to weaker nations for differing outcomes, i find spain and France dominance quite boring

Great save,I like doing ones like these but more in depth with the foreign team makes for a interesting save especially if you release lower league team managers and players if you have time takes a while to release all the players. At
one point Ian Bogie (ex Stockport Gateshead manager ) was the England Manager and Gareth Southgate was the Al Ain Manager. But your right about Norwich even on my save came up from Championship straight to Champs League, The only difference Was possibly that Arsenal Man Utd Man City got relegated. Buakyo Saka went to Norwich (when in Championship) Mason Greenwood to Mancity and Will Grigg signed for Man Utd? Keep up the great content hope your having a good New Year 👍
