- This video is only made for entertainment purposes. It’s not meant to be taken too seriously. Please accept my headcanon’s and other’s. Just because I don’t view her the same way as you doesn’t mean you have the right to harass me about it. That is never acceptable.
I might make a part two to these considering I just used a lot of 90!anime and PGSM examples (those are two versions that I’m most familiar with ^^”). There was also supposed to be more Sera Myu examples, but I can’t find any sources for them.

Basically the creator of the manga jokingly drew them together in one of the opening covers as a fun idea. But it's not acc in the story and I imagine the anime director confused it to be Canon when it was just Mrs Takeuchi humour.

Both Kunzite's relationship with Sailor Venus and Jadeite's with Sailor Mars have canonical support. Besides, there is no clear indication that any of them are lesbians aside from Uranus and Neptune who are in a public relationship. To come out and say 99% of them is gay is just plain false and very unlikely. In fact, there is much more reason to believe most of them are straight if you look at all the boy/girl-chasing that take place in both manga and anime.
But of course people are gonna cherry-pick and say "oh x and x have art showing them holding hands and cuddling they must be gay!" when in reality, that could very well be a strong platonic relationship between two people who are basically like sisters.
Unless Takeuchi states they are gay or make a clear plot that proves they are gay, I simply don't buy it when I compare it to all the heterosexual things they are involved in and just statistics in general.

This is an awesome, hilarious video I enjoyed watching a lot, as Rei-chan is my favorite Sailor Moon character and all her scenes with Usagi (which you included most of even though you're a Reinako shipper, thank you so much!!!!) make me absolutely melt and I never get tired of seeing them.
I honestly would've added two more clips if I made this, one being the moment in R where everyone finds out that Chibiusa is Usagi and Mamoru's daughter from the future and her reaction is "On what day, month and year did any of this happen??" (also the moments where she talks to Chibiusa about how she really feels about Usagi and feels bad that she and her mother don't get along, even if she doesn't know she's Usagi's daughter at this point are so sweet) and the scene in StarS where she is paired up with Michiru trying to find the other Senshi and get to Nehellenia's castle which has her being worried over Usagi which causes Michiru to reply "You and Usagi...are like Haruka and I".
Also this video was probably the best outlet for shilling Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon so I can finally watch it and convincing me to give the manga another shot (I read the first arc and first volume of Black Moon Clan but I wasn't feeling it otherwise), so thank you for that!

Before watching SM back in 2019 I really liked Usagi and Rei (I still do) but Reinako is literal OTP. Rei is actually a bisexual. She tried to hang out with Mamoru earlier. She's not denying a man she feel herself ashamed when she see a naked man in the bathroom. Her tendencies of taking care of her female friends or being attracted by them is a proof that she is only siding for the sake of love what she totally never gets the entire series. I feel bad for her. All the Sailor Inner-Senshi girls with the exception of Usagi Tsukino, non of them found their true love who remains to be their identical love who canonically meant for each and one another. Minako is taking care of Rei because she feel the same burden of herself not getting a boyfriend. She is not directly a lesbian this way, because the womanly standards they have are really hetero worthy, it's just them being deceived by Haruka and that's it. They cannot help it. @@FireMewMew A little more than probably, Homura belongs to the same archetype as manga/Crystal Rei and the whole idea of how Rei and Homura would literally die/stain their hands with blood for Usagi and Madoka respectively (though outside of fanfic Rei never gets to do the latter, but she does die for Usagi many times. And then there's Homura who WISHES she could die for Madoka but instead she's trapped in a stable time loop trying to save her until she becomes the devil :P).

I like Rei in the manga, Crystal, Eternal and Cosmos of Sailor Moon are better than the 90'S anime because it shows a sign quote "Accept the things you cannot change, have the courage to change the thing you can and have the wisdom to know the difference" the prayer shows about Rei make mistakes she through doing right things during the Dark Kingdom arc and Dream arc but it wrong that lead to unintentional consequences like when doubts her determination in believe herself to save people but when Rei meditates before her fire again at the shrine, this time receiving a vision of a man on the bus grabbing Usagi and senses danger she goes save her but it a trap by Jadeite then when Sailor Moon and Mercury are both rendered powerless as Jadeite freezes them, when Rei wakes amongst the commotion, asking why Usagi saved her because she has responsibility as a Sailor Guardian to use her power to protect people like Rei does and believe her determination by having the the courage to change the thing she and the wisdom to know the difference when Rei dashes towards Jadeite and grabs his arm as the Mars symbol appears on her forehead then Luna throws her a pen, encouraging her to transform, as the third Sailor Guardian Sailor Mars and performs her newest action, Akuryo Taisan, and engulfed by flames Jadeite is defeated and she's better with her power she can protect her friends now in Eternal Rei goes to the Mirror House by PallaPalla where a mirror displays a younger version of herself preying on her doubts as Tiger's Eye appears in the reflection as well ever sense Rei lost her mother of a illness she doubts he determination she use her Akuryo Taisan doesn't work and Rei can't transform and starts to forget things as the Lemures give her a nightmare and she falls then Phobos and Deimos break into the Mirror House and attack Tiger's Eye to save Rei forcing him to retreat inside the mirrors. They wake Princess Mars up and she sees them in their human forms for the first time and she regains her determination by believe in them in with Sailor Neptune's words this is right thing by having the courage to change the thing she and the wisdom to know the difference they grant Rei her Mars Crystal and Mars Arrow She transforms into Super Sailor Mars and, remembering Sailor Neptune's words, destroys Tiger's Eye with Mars Flame Sniper, breaking the spell over the Amazoness Quartet's audience Sailor Mars because better than before with courage and wisdom with the power of love can do anything and always believe her determination to help and save her friends she loves Usagi and the others that's why I Rei a lot better in the Manga, Crystal, Eternal and Cosmos of Sailor Moon it makes sense about everything because the Serenity prayer to signs of consequence of making mistakes but we can always fix things to make things right no matter what with courage and wisdom with the power of love can make things better and will always triumph over evil Sailor Moon says no matter what.

Michiru knows because she says she and Usagi "are like Haruka and I" when they are paired up together in StarS and Rei worries sick over Usagi while they are trying to look for her when the Senshi all get separated trying to get to Nehellenia's castle, and she has powers of precognition/can read the stars. Basically if she says it, then it's most certainly destiny.
