Nice job mate,i believe Saint Lawrence was once quite a hub as it was the end of the northern rail line for some time it has a few nice surprises,it used to be our nearest town when working on a property up in the hills above the range,the cemetery is also worth a visit,I bet there'd be some "treasures"thrown down that old shaft over the years.
Hey thanks Jason You wouldn't pick it now that St Lawrence and Newport was going to be a major town and Port For Queensland. Still much more for me to explore up there when I get back soon
@CQExplorers it's worth a drive up the range to the site of the old Schneider's inn,there's nothing there now put a little picnic spot and a plaque but you get a good view back over the coast.
I was looking at St. Lawrence/ Clairveiw by the g.p.s. The other day. Has been awhile since I was that way.
Looking at I'd stay in a weekend at Clairview soon.
