Ive been a professional for over 30 years in the field, watched my share of tutorials. You are by far one of the most clear , concise and just easy to listen to professionals I watch. Love your stuff. Thank you for posting.
I just realized that I'm thinking "oh, he's gonna use this tool and do those adjustments" all the time, and whenever I'm right I feel like a Photoshop expert :3
Just to say Aaron I think you're tutorials are terrific. It helps me immensely with my college course in photography and mainly with the advance image editing class. Your videos are now the only ones I relate to if I need to know a technique. I have been playing around with Photoshop for some time now and I feel something has clicked and I am understanding it much clearer. You are true Professionalism. Thank you.
Thanks so much Aaron for this tutorial. I'll be photographing 4 boxing professionals in my studio next week, and although I've used other methods for sculpting the muscles with lighting and processing, what you're showing here will be perfect for the results I've been looking for and that they will need to promote their upcoming fights. Cheers!
Cool Video. I just photographed a bodybuilder over the weekend. Is there a way to save the settings and create a preset to apply to the image if I want to edit several photos from the shoot with the same look?
Hey guys, is there any chance you could do a tutorial on recreating a Lichtenstein. Loved your Warhol tutorial (as I do all your tutorials). Big love from the UK
I am a youth sports photography newbee. I bought joel grimes tutorial on how he edits his latest sports composites, and this isn't far off. In fact it's just missing a couple things but on the whole it's spot on. My question is what is the photoshop equivalent to ACR fill slider in photoshop? I am trying to build an action based on yours and joel grimes editing, however I don't know what the fill slider does. Any ideas would be most welcome. Grazi Grazi
Do you have any videos on photography part on how to do female gym body shoots? Not per say in a gym, but you are trying to make all her workout stand out. What kind of lighting and how would you position them to create the best shadows? While still keeping her looking soft, since it's a female and not a male? Anything like that?
so great, pal... this is differential the way you did in the end making a recapitulation. grea!! Could you do a tutorial explain how to reach in that photogragh quality as magazin ????
been trying awhile to create a Dave Hill effect on my photos, i have don't hours of dodging and burning and high pass filters and everything i can think of! still doesn't look right! Please help!
I understand the concept of the video, but think even for tutorial purposes that the sharpening looked a bit like overkill. But this "Phlearn @ Nite" concept is interesting.
Hi I do color corrections to pic to be printed on an offset press. Here people do not use color settings and are not aware of color profiles etc. If I attach a color profile I do not if the prepress men will not change them while impositioning in PREPS. Then I do not know what profile the RIP is using. (People using PREPS and RIP are not very much aware of color profiles). The matter is printed on maplitho paper which is not bright too. ON more factor has to be balanced too. The monitors are not calibrated. Since the pics need correcting because they are looking awful on my screen what principle I should follow. I also should inform that I desist from interfering in the color profiles. The printed results are 50% good. So how do I go about it. Are there any India specific settings like : North America Prepress etc. Arjun Mishra, New Delhi, India.
+Piotr Kuśmirek in many cases you might want to get a job as a product designer but you still are going to have to learn how to make your own elements in Illustrator. There's not many Adobe Illustrator guys this simple, but when I say Illustrator is easier than Photoshop...To be honest, once you use Illustrator you'll understand more on what a graphic designer really is.
wasnt bout to post this untill i saw outro... new mic, great choice - but too close to your mouth, you're clipping the "highlights" (in photolanguage) man :)
hello aaron i am a beginner compositer if you could deliver an episode on multiple image elements color correcting and matching all images so that they look part of same image would be helpful

I'm so loving the nighttime set! It's less distracting. Thanks.
I just realized that I'm thinking "oh, he's gonna use this tool and do those adjustments" all the time, and whenever I'm right I feel like a Photoshop expert :3
Great that you do a summary after explaining the principles involved. Good technique, A.

I think you should play with the frequency in the 800Hz to 1.5kHz range in your audio recordings.
You gave him goose bumps. Still stellar, as usual.

I'm not sure you changed the photo into better than it was
same. maybe I just don't like sport photos all that much
why you make it grainy?
You should have made the mum version as well xD LOL
wasnt bout to post this untill i saw outro... new mic, great choice - but too close to your mouth, you're clipping the "highlights" (in photolanguage) man :)
Could have become villian in Terminator..like Patrick...the liquid metal.

Only thing i don't like is this photo had already been edited so much before he began this edit. Want to see an edit starting with raw file.
Bro. Can you please make Fitness photography editing tutorials using Affinity Photo? Please.
The guy looks like Daniel Craig
You should definitely 'photoshop' the mic away.
