Pain in the throat is a very common symptom and sometimes it is associated with additional ear ache as well. Throat pain can be caused by a simple pharyngitis , that is infection of the throat caused by the tonsillitis which is very common in young children between age 2 and 5 and also because of small ulcers that form because of vitamin ands iron deficiency and also because of extreme stress. It can also be caused by lesions such as tumors. The most common is tonsillitis and pharyngitis and they can be associated with ear ache. The reason for ear ache is that the nerves that supply the throat also have supply to the era and there is a certain amount of impulses form the area of the throat and pain sensation to the ear due to pathology in the ear. The refereed pain that can be due to short circuits that can happen due to electric currents and devices that are going up. They are not the cause, there are ear aches and such earaches do not respond to the local treatment and we treat it from the cause upwards. So that is causing the earache has to be treated, after which the ear ache spontaneously comes down. So it is important to identify the causative factors and treat the same accordingly.

The right side of my throat feels numb and when I drink water i feel a pain a couple inches above my collar bone in my throat (on the right side). However, when I swallow food i don't feel any pain. At times my right ear feels muffled like I can't hear very well. This has been going on for about two weeks now and doesn't seem to be getting any better. I googled this and am scared that I may have throat cancer. I had this similar problem 6-7 months ago but it went away after 3-4 months but the pain was in my upper lymph node on my neck (also on my right side) and now its lower. When i went to the doctor 7 months ago they said that my lymph nodes felt fine and dismissed me. Anyone else in a similar place???!!!!

If you have tonsil stones, you might find it hard to swallow. It might feel like there's something stuck at the back of your throat. You might be able to see small patches of white on your tonsils. Tonsil stones can also trigger infections and can be difficult to treat with antibiotics.

Guys. I have tonsilitis on 20 july 2024.after4 days its gone. But my mistake the pain continued. After medicine its gone. But a sharp pain is there. It continued till yesterday evng.all type of medicine,oral endoscopy I did no pblm at all.then I put my finger inside and touch it back of right tonsil. I get a nasal hair .small and sharp. I think the pain is over.

Sir, I am 40 and still I get tonsillitis infection twice a year.. I take augmentin 625 and get better but sometimes i get hospitalized for pains and extreme yellow tonsillitis..
I get it twice a yeart too but it never actually affected my ear until now. It's really bad this time.
I use ginger garlic raw honey water or coconut water cardamom corriander powder.. blend it making a type liquid syrup you will need to refridgerate or leave v out for fermination either is fine... it doesn't taste good but works excellent take 3xs daily.... Also take a teaspoon coconut oil mixed with raw honey to kill off bacteria naturally. To help soothe symptoms of Tonsilitis, swollen Adnoids and throat pain take the coconut oil1or 2xs and the liquid mixture 3xs daily!!! It really helped my son when they were considering surgical removal

Before 2 months i got viral fever and tonsillitis, after that left side of my throat have a small pain..and i used so many cool drinks and ice cream in the month of February and the pain increased.. especially the pain is in the morning when i wake up after a sleeping..and i feel throbbing in left side of throat and i feel pain..and i consulted 2 physicians they told that there is nothing, they lighted the torch and checked my throat..and prescribed antibiotics to me..but i have that pain.. already i have anxiety..😭😭

I also went to the doctors office and turns out I have strep throat with an ear infection, so for that my doctor prescribed some antibiotics 😬 and I too feel some relief.

I have pain from neck to ear, eye, tooth, in the left side I have a lot of lumps on my left side and one lump I had tuberculosis showed before 5 ,6 years ago And the tonsils in my left side are also bigger than the right side And I also showed the ENT doctor, he is saying nothing is normal and I showed neurology, he said, got the MRI done and did not see anything's And I do not feel pain outside with ear, eye, tooth in the left side, it hurts inside inside, something has happened inside as it hurts like this please help me sir please help

I don’t know what I have. It started off with my eyes stinging. Then fever, my throat hurting, ears and it’s horrible. I’ve lost my voice too. Having to whisper to family members.

@@letizia_martinez I was swimming plenty before I got my ears hurting and after my ears stopped I went back into the water, dunking my head and it started again. So I think for me at least I need to cover my ears with something when I swim. I don’t know why it’s happening now though, it’s never happened before.
But to answer your question my mum put ear drops into my ear (if you want the name I’ll find them later and tell you, though, abutting should be fine you will probably have) and then put cotton in my ear to stop it getting out. After leaving them in all day (except from when I slept because they would just fall out) after over a week I think my ears felt ok. Then that’s when I went back into the water to have them hurt a little again (like what I talked about at the start).
For my throat I had medicine and it went away a few days after the ear pain disappeared. Hope this helps and you feel ok soon.

Same. I'm so afraid that mine is cancer only because my mom passed from cancer in 2018. Hers was tongue cancer, so I'm sure if I do have it it's not the same.
I've had this ongoing ear ache for over 1 year and now it's in my throat. I'm so scared.
