Check out the Hanlon Motorsports short throw shifter! That thing is a game changer, it has some strong springs in there to locate the shifter back to center and keep it from going back into first from second. Also, if you’re comfortable with it, try keeping your hand on the shifter between shifts so it’s easier to plan which direction your hand is going for the next shift. We all start somewhere! You’re doing great!
I think they were out when I inquired about one but you’re the second person to recommend them! When I actually went back and watched the footage I was so embarrassed 😂 that I was going back into first lmao 🤣 but now I’m more mindful . But it’s such a tough habit to break with me keeping my hand on the shifter, but I’ll try to be better about! Thanks Tess 🩵🩵🩵
Good job. Little tip..I hear the car dropping some rpms between shifts. Make sure you powershift that car and try not to let the rpms drop any. Be surprised how much it picks up. You are doing good!
@LalaFox92 That definitely makes it tough. I've raced everything from a blown alcohol dragster to now top sportsman. It takes time and it's not easy! I don't race much during these months between work and not wanting to go on 90 plus degree days. 🤣
keep your hand on the shifter at all gear change when you get in high gear then you drive it with both hands on the steering wheel or lefle hand stay on steering wheel and right hand still on shifter that way you get a better feel of your car and shife point and you will get faster at shifing it like a pro/stocker driver.you did very good and i like your channel so i subscribed.
Keep up the videos. I like the long form stuff. Toutube doesnt push it like shorts but i still think there is a market for it. Just takes a little longer for YT to push it. Keep it up. Not sure where you guys are, (im in maryland. but id love to meet up with yall and shoot a little video. Dont stop posting even if its hard for views, we will keep watching.
Thank you! I don’t post as often anymore like when I first started bc I’m not actively building but I will be starting next year so I’m excited to get back to that. I’ll be 100% honest - it was discouraging for me at one point bc I’d see other creators in the space have way more views and subs than I did but their videos were way simpler or we were doing the same exact thing - but comparison is the thief of joy and I had to get over that. But I appreciate this comment so much! It’s just what I needed to hear - and yea let’s get a video some day it would be cool!
@LalaFox92 I agree. And I'm right there with you. Some people have simple no edit videos with 100k subs and 70k views. But it's just how YT is. Just have to keep your head up and keep posting. I personally thing your doing good. I see you make a video and go to it.
Congrat's on new pb. Looking at your dl screen. @7:05 time it looks like you are pretty dangerous with fuel. DC should be way under 100% and your AF Target says 11:19 but actual is 13.xx? Be careful you don't blow a head gasket. could you take a screen shot at max rpm and 100% tps so I could see how the dc and actual af are?
@@LalaFox92 I forget where or who from, but I read that mfrs. oversize stock injectors with around 20 percent more capacity than a stock engine will ever need. So at full load, a stock engine will only need around 80 percent of the stock injectors' duty cycle. It's a good reference for injector sizing.
It is so awesome to see the ladies getting involved
🙌🙌🙌

Still working on it lol! It stinks I don’t get a lot of seat time in the car racing it , I only race it 2-3 times a year

Very true! Still dialing that in!

You have gained a new subscriber
I appreciate that , thank you so much 😊
Funds permitting time 4 new injectors & pump. Seems like your bogging 1st gift shift. Play hard & stay strong 💪🏾 ✊🏾💯💯
Yes I need some new ones!!
Keep up the great work. The general rule of thumb is to not take your injectors above mid to high 80%
Yeah I misspoke in the video my dc should be under 100! Thank you!
love coming from the Caribbean an I'm admire that you focus an see how you have grown as a driver an congrats on your PB, looking to see u in the 10's
Oooo the islands!! Thanks for the love and for watching!
hope you consider a Dogbox to prevent the lost of boost between shifts
ever think about adding no lift shift? once I added that to my holley ecu its been a game changer.
I just feel like at the level I’m at I don’t need to no lift shift but I could be wrong
🙌🏾

You’re 100% correct . I’m aware of it and I prob shouldn’t be pushing my car as far as I did, next time I’ll def run a safer tune in it

Your learning the car and getting it dialed in! Did you get bigger injectors? I have those 80lbs if you need them.
I’m def trying!!

Hiii friend 🥰
Hey loveeee!!
Your grey is lighter that mine
It’s a GM silver apparently!
Stop taking your hand off the shifter and floor it. It's a stuck shift mustang , beat like you stole it to get the best times.
Tough habit I’m trying to breakkkk
