I went to a beautiful Mass at a church named after our dear Irish Saint Patrick in the middle of the Oregon desert this morning. St. Patrick, please work a miracle in my family! And St. Therese, please convert Paris!
Thankyou so much Father. I've spent time being angry since I sat down with my family to see the opening ceremony of the Olympics and witnessed some weird shadow performance that was at times vulgar & conceited represent France. I will never forget the 'Little Flower', my mum signed me up as a member of the society many years ago as a child & they still send me prayer cards, information & guidance! The 'Little flower' is my absolute favourite Saint & been an absolute oasis for me & least I forget, she is 100% French! ❤
I had the opportunity to call in to God’s Cottage on Friday last with three children in tow. Having watched most of the videos on this channel including the ones that gave a tour of the Cottage, how it came to be and its history, the visit was extra special and I felt completely at home. The children loved the area to the rear and the short walk along the riverbank to it. Glendalough was quite busy on the day so it was great to get parking inside the gate until a space became free just outside. I also got my first copy of the Curate’s Diary and I hear now that it’s the most important edition yet. Divine providence at work surely. Thank you for all you do Fr. Doyle.
I have always love Saint Theresas writings. Many years ago I went to visit Lisieux,I noticed among her personal things a paint box.Like me she used to paint.I love her simple devotion to our Lord Jesus.
May the lord bring blessings on your programme. In light of the events taken place in Paris at the opening of the Olympics, perhaps we could ask St Therese to guide and pray for those involved. (Father forgive them for they know not what they do). 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you Father Thady for my copy of the Curate's Diary and accompanying booklets.
Yes, certainly. I will upload my little video on Tuesday re Paris. Interestingly I believe that the Lord showed me that I was to upload this positive video first
My father is in a nursing home with Alzheimer and the manager just called me to say that they can't keep him there anymore. I'm 4000 km away from him right now. Tomorrow I'm waiting for an answer from another place if he can go there. It's near my husband extended family, which it will be just wonderful. Can you please pray for him, to stay in peace and for the answer to be a positive one? Thank you very much.
I think your right Thady. We've been letting the Irish saints off light. Time for us to put the shiftless to work. Lord knows there's a lot of good that needs doing.
Extraordinary initiative. It's also moving that most of these soldiers, as a sign of gratitude, sent their medals and decorations earned in battle to the Carmel of Lisieux, the convent of Saint Thérèse
Thanks Father Thady for this inspiring video. I have a book of prayers called Lifelines and strangely felt drawn to pray more prayers of a night from it. I found a page with the litany to the saints. There were a lot of names! But I persevered I didn't know all of them but felt quite a lot of consolation after doing it and like you say they are closer to us than we think, all around. I did feel was I side stepping going direct to Jesus but as you say in the video this is God's will.
By post it cost 20 euro Ireland, 18 sterling UK (once a month posting to UK); 35 euro rest of world for 12 monthly copies, from Fr. T. Doyle, Shillelagh, Arklow, Co Wicklow. Ireland
