- OK, so this is now tied with the Gator burgers as my favorite way to eat gator meat!!! Oh my goodness!!! this was so good! I expected it to me much more chewy and not nearly as good! The gator was amazing, the butternut squash was spot on and the cabbage was absolutely ideal! this was a dinner I was proud to put my name on!!! I'm so glad you said what you said. I had an accident about 10 weeks ago and am recovering from major surgery to my leg/.hip. Before this I was very active and loved my hunting and fishing here in Oz. I'm of Greek heritage born in Australia but much like you guys my childhood memories are of mum cooking beautiful natural food that we had caught after a week out in the bush hunting with our Dad's and fishing trips along our beautiful coasts. My point is after laying on my back for 10 weeks (still can't walk yet), i've been getting pretty bored! I've seen hundreds of you tube channels - some i knew about but most i had never even known existed just trying to keep myself entertained. FINALLY!!!!! Something i can just watch, like a day out from woe to go without ads and promos and other rubbish. Thanks for reminding me how much in life there is to love!

watching this in 2018, "No we may not have a million subs, but we're stoked having just 100,000". Well staying away from those annoying prompts and calls to action worked excellently. You kept up a great energy and now you have 1.3 million subs. been a fan for years and will always be a fan.
You guys are absolutely right. You gain more by providing value than by introducing obnoxious prompts. I'm more likely to discontinue watching something if it is too commercial.
This might be my favorite tasty Tuesday so far! Thanks for being true to yourself I don't think you need to change anything up your fan base is growing by the day.

I like your way of thinking! Way to many people give in to the demand of stuff. I've only been around for maybe a month maybe month and a half and have noticed you do what you want and think is good content. Hey Rob and Sarah, I've only been watching your videos (and re-watching some others), a lot the last two months or so. Seeing the way you guys live, with all your family and friends, I feel like a part of the fam. I know this video may not be as recent but it's my first view, and I just wanted to say I totally appreciate your comments about staying true to who you guys are and not changing just because RUclips wants your to. Keep up the good work. And I'm gonna have to order me some Everglades seasoning on Amazon because these stores up here in MN don't seem to carry any.

I don't think RUclips understands that you all are an honest group of folks. Not that the gamers and vloggers and news channels on RUclips aren't honest, but they tailor to a younger and different audience. You all tailor to pretty much anyone from the age 12 and up who enjoys the outdoors. I myself watch your videos like crazy and I'm 20. It's a different life when you love and enjoy the outdoors, and I want you guys to know that you don't need to cave in for there to be great content. Just keep doing what you're doing and the subs will keep coming. It warms my heart knowing that like-minded individuals like you all exist. Rob - I grew up in Queensland, Australia. Brisbane is my hometown, about 27 degrees south of the Equator - you guys are pretty much right on my latitude! I LOVE those summer storms you showing there - unfortunately I moved further south and now only ever see a summer storm maybe once per year instead of what it is like in the tropics

I don't know if you already knew this, but when the baby is here you can use the cabbage leaves (bruise them and put them in the fridge) if Sarah's breast are tense from the milk production (don't put it on the areola) it will help release the tension!! Food for thought ;)
*COOKING TIP* When you cook any kind of cabbage, beans (wet or dry), or tomatoes based stew if you add a pinch or two of baking soda it helps take out a lot of the gas.

so much variety of ways to cook squash. use a peeler to take the skin off then cube it into inch squares. throw it into a pan and add just enough water that you can see it below the edge. apply full heat on your stove and bring it to a rolling boil. the cubes will shrink somewhat but boil it for between 5 and 10 minutes. ladle out the cubes and the juice and put it in a blender. in another sauce pan throw in some bacon pieces, diced onion carrot celery maybe some red and green bell pepper. pull about 1/4 of the bacon out and save aside leave the bacon grease in. then add the puree'd squash into the pan and mix up. bring back to a simmer. use a stick blender to puree everythign together. then add some whole milk or cream and the pieces of bacon. the creme will thicken the soup up the longer you keep it on the heat. serve with croutons ontop and season to your own taste. the bacon added back gives you some texture to chew on. you can hold the veggies back for the same reasons.

I like your videos just the way they are. I don't catch all of the tasty Tuesday videos but like the way you cook and plate everyone's meals. On the fishing videos I would like to see some of the scenery near shore on your way as well as the catching of the fish. And the hunting videos are great as is! Not to much product placement but you are loyal to your brands. That's nice. One last thing is I like how you demonstrate how to clean your catches. Thanks!

Hello Robert. You may have figured it out by now. To cut corn off the cob...get a big bowl, put a smaller bowl in it upside down and go to cutting! They also sell a small device so you don't have to use a knife. Awesome videos!
