I wonder if shrink tubing would work for the back of that knee? You know the stuff they use in electronics to tidy up soldered bits? You could cut a sleeve to the desired length, slide it over the knee and warm it with hot hair dryer perhaps. The challenge is finding flesh tone tubing in that diameter.

That's a very interesting idea. You are right with the correct flesh tone. That's like finding a needle in a haystack.

I use clear acrylic nail kit for nose and absent fingers on the dolls for repairing. And then I dye it with flesh acrylic paint. I use some glazing medium while painting.. And varnish them..

That's a good idea. I'm not really familiar with nail stuff but it could work.

@@BusyBfromGermany I've seen doe/deer channel repairing missing digits with a toothpick and acrylic nail gel. He does a pretty respectable job.

If any one else has the chew mark problem with barbie doll feet I managed to easily fix it by filling the holes slowly with super glue till the glue buildup fills in the hole completely only do one side at a time once the glue is dry sand it back so the glue is smooth like the rest of the foot repeat until the holes are all filled and sanded down good clean the residue of with a wet wipe you will still see the holes even though they are filled once done spray with Matt varnish and let dry before using materials like soft pastels to recolour the feet to match the rest of the doll then seal about two more times before using the doll

I watched your video on how to reroot using the lock and loop method. I've never seen anyone show how to secure it at the very end before so I was really glad to see that you did! You're right, it does look much neater and I am also not a fan of the knot method or using glue on vintage dolls.
