- A journey along the Mid-Norfolk Railway, from Wymondham to County School, via Dereham. This was being created to celebrate the MNR's 25th anniversary, but filming the final scenes was stopped due to the coronavirus ourtbreak. As a result some scenes still include "reversed" footage that was originally to be replaced, and the most recent developments at Dereham (such as the new loco shed) are not seen.
A Really Useful Railway.
Many thanks. The railway has an amazing collection of Mk2 and Mk3 coaches!
Enjoy the ride.
38.35 one and only me operating the gates at netherhead crossing.
great video, took me a while to realise it was in reverse
I don't see the point of posting a reverse video
I thought you were running a ton of red signals until I realised it was in reverse! Also brilliant catch of the cat
A really nice video although the cars going backward can be a bit off-putting! But I love the cat at 20.10 onwards - the way it looks over its shoulder, sees a class 47 coming and then runs like hell......! Great stuff.
Sadly the lock-down meant that the scenes supposed to be placed in those positions couldn't be filmed. Thanks, and I'm glad you noticed the Garvestone cat!
@@nbc_uk So the entire trip was actually filmed with the train going forward and the camera mounted on the rear?
I have the Hardback Book of The Railway Policeman.
The Story of the Constable on the Track.
By J. R. WHITBREAD.
The ironic thing is I've done a cab ride video on the MNR going forwards and still cars crossed in front from that same close distance.
Great..
