I'm watching this three times a week more or less. I love it !
i was lucky to have grown up at noosa and learnt to surf at first point in the early 70s. I can remember the cherry venture running aground, and being in the inaugural group of nippers. Before the land reclamation and the beach was huge. getting dropped off after school, and then walking up the hill in the dark to wait for my dad to come out of the reef, riding wallace surfboards and wearing Kevin Platt boardshorts, cheesecloth shirts, peeling noses, zinc cream and the smell of that tee tree. miss those times..

Lived at Sunshine beach and went to Tewantin State around the same time. The camping area at the end of Hasting St and mangroves on the left as you drove down. Caught the school bus at the shops 100m from Platts shop/house. It was a great time of life.
Love this and reminds me of why I love Noosa...love the drone perspective.

Hi Keahi, been watching a few videos online of surfing filmed with drones. Yours might not feature the biggest waves like all the vids of Pipeline but as far as the filming goes yours is definitely the best! You're nice and close to the water and the action! Most people are hanging 50 feet in the air. Awesome work! Look forward to more!
Trained up there with Leech & Newman in 87. Could just imagine what it's like there now, as back then people got around with altimeters on their noses.

One of the best drone vids I've seen. Really follows the rider perf, and the tunes are quite pleasant. Watching these guys makes me wanna learn how to cross step and nose ride proper.

When I was on a holiday in Australia 9 years ago this was the place when I first tried surfing in my life. memories... Loved it! Now heading to Algarve (Portugal) for surfing eventough I am still a beginner.
