Try Kiyoshimo in War Thunder. That thing can do anything: - it has lots of triple mount type 96 25 mms so it’s one of the few Japanese ships with good AA - 12.7 cm Type 3 has high velocity so no problems hitting other destroyers up to 7 km away - 16 type 93 long lances split between 2 quadruple launchers + 1 reload for each launcher = spam in the general direction of the spawn = won’t be long before the kill secured ding sounds
Nagato did a lot of work as flagship pre-Yamato, including disaster relief. I don't think she sortied as much as the Kongo sisters during the war, though.

You either need a fast carrier fleet with equally fast escorts to search and destroy your enemy, or a fast surface fleet to approach enemy airfields/ports at night and neutralise enemy assets before the sun rises allowing your enemy to send planes after you. Slow ships are next to (if not outright) useless in both cases.

@@sofielee4122 Well, they are the same class so it's fair to miss the differences when only glancing at them. There's a few good digrams that have the 4 Kongo Class ships. They were all rebuilt multiple time so make sure you watch out for the years when looking at any pictures for comparison.

Pyotr only has the best armor only if you angle. She has a HUGE profile and citadel and on top of being extremely cumbersome, anything that can shoot your sides will sink you extremely quickly, which isn't uncommon should a BB get within knife fighting ranges of you.

Shit was hilarious back in the day, cruiser and destroyer players would freak the fuck out when a battleship came running at them at 30 knots while dodging their torps. And well, it never really changed even with her getting some direct and indirect nerfs over time. (I remember her having the late-war AA fit back then, which even with crappy IJN AA meant that T4 carriers flying their aircraft within 25mm range was like feeding them into a woodchipper.)

Everyone talking about Burning Love, and I'm just here appreciating that Kiyoshimo got the Battleship classification she deserves.
Try Kiyoshimo in War Thunder. That thing can do anything:

Always loved how the Kongo played, fast with powerful guns, a tad trolling but satisfying when the dispersion behaves.
