Potential to be Dirk 2.0 plus rim protection and athleticism. As great as Dirk is, his flaws on defense really defined the type of frontcourt player he needed to play with. He needed a true rim protector who could guard both 4s and 5s, basically play help defense for the both of them, and command defensive attention as a roll man on offense (Tyson Chandler). Not really criticism of Dirk, basically all teams need that, but the potential for Porzingis to dominate in both the Dirk role and the Tyson Chandler role is what's really special.

I'm a Heat fan and it's a shame that Winslow or Richardson is not on there. Because they are not there yet. Winslow have the potential to be Kawhi and Richardson the potential to be Westbrook. They're just not there yet.

You can see the joy on Melo's face when he plays with Porzingis. He knows if he stays a few years, Porzingis has a steady progress and hits his prime and the Knicks make some decent moves - like they did this off season, he may have a shot at a title if they get lucky against the Cavs. It will all depend a lot on what happens this season though.
I believe Porzingis would average about 18-20 a game this season with 8 rebounds due to Noah being the leader in rebounds and now that I think of it the Knicks have a solid Rebounding team

I honestly think Jerian Grant should be on this list, he's a young, pass-first point guard, that can also score. He had the misfortune of playing in the triangle. He got traded for Derrick Rose, and won the Summer Leauge MVP, him and Denzel Valentine will be a dynamic scoring duo, and they both cover each other's weaknesses.
DLo one of my fav players, I cant wait until he becomes a beast. He hits alot of clutch shots and always shows up when teammates arent playing well. Also from the best school OSU

I honestly think Jerian Grant should be on this list, he's a young, pass-first point guard, that can also score. He had the misfortune of playing in the triangle. He got traded for Derrick Rose, and won the Summer Leauge MVP, him and Denzel Valentine will be a dynamic scoring duo, and they both cover each other's weaknesses.
