No laptops only have HDMI output ports so if you want to use the display of a laptop you would need a convertor. Otherwise it's designed to be used with any external monitor upto 8K.

Premiere Pro is not well optimised. For larger projects, 24 GB would be better. But for FCP and Davinci 16 GB is enough.
