- Looking for the BEST RUST BASE of 2020? This is one of the Best Base Designs I have ever made.
This base has 4 SEAMLESS, Detachable, 12 rocket externals, that are also built as flank bases.
Raider's will have a hard time dealing with all the online raid protection built into this BASE DESIGN.

Maybe it is because I am faded, but I was watching this and the entire build was just fascinating. Whether it be the aesthetic of the base or how many cool features were apart of it, it was very entertaining to watch. Keep up the base designs, definetely recommend listing the amount of materials and the upkeep needed at the end, though.
I appreciate that feedback, alot of thought went into this design, step by step even! Usually I add them into the beginning intro section, but I just couldn't get it to fit into that music :(

My group built this and we couldnt get a break everytime we started building the next segment someone would try to raid us we got the base down in the end and had one of the best wipes every (also a great base for 4 mans and small groups)

Interesting. I have a new series idea My Gaming Experience. It's the opposite of "raid dat base" it's called, "defend dat base" where you and your friend either raid or defend any base designs, preferably you'll be the raider. You will try to raid the base as fast as you can, whilst doing a online one.

hahaha I was JUST working on this myself. I was literally in creative the last couple of days, working on how to build a base that took all of the best ideas from multiple videos and put it into one. I unfortunately couldn't really make it solo feasable (since I only play solo). I wanted to have at least 2 completely separate bunkers, to double the cost of getting all the loot.
Yeah building huge bases like this is very hard for a solo, solo bases are actually much harder because it's very temping to go all out

I noticed most your garage doors are Stone framed. Is there ever an important time, in your mind, to upgrade them to metal so that knocking out the door frame doesn't cost a hundred less hit points? To force them to knock on the door instead of the frame? I know mostly it will take explo ammo to do that, but if you throw a C4 just correctly saves you a hundred HP
it would still take 2 c4 to break a stone frame or an armored door, it does make sense to upgrade them past metal once you kinda have that unlimited resources coming in.
Stone Frames are ~185 Explo Ammo, Garage doors are 150. There isn't much of a reason to upgrade the frames.

the only question i have is why have entrances to the external tc bases (Lmao) on the outside of the compound. kind of seems like a weak point since you have to leave the compound to try to defend it if raiders get access to it. in my experience id go for that first to try to do as you said and "Make a raid base" out of them. Maybe try to work an entrance on the inside of the compound to limit the weakness of this very strong base. just a thought

what was the point in building out 8 squares to remove it? then just to put a square and upgrade, which could have been done without building out?

@@MyGamingExperience thanks. My challenge to you is to do a solo/trio circle base. With multiple exits and uses Tesla coils as part as a base defense.
Don't have to do all of these just a fun challenge.
how do you prevent laddering up on the Multi tc. You can ladder on the shop fronts. Only thing I could think of is metal barricades. But with my base I've used up all of my metal blades. Especially with this base you'd use a lot. Any other suggestions? I really like the design but there's that one flaw

this may be hard for a trio to build, i do have some smaller bases, this one is actually the biggest one on my channel
We play on a times 4 server, so the material cost isn't horrible, but it's still laborious. Still an awesome build
The twig roof glitch can be opened from both side if it is on a raised foundation half way up.

Think I am gonna build this solo on the no decay server I plan on playing.I am not an advanced or expert builder so I see some parts I am gonna have trouble with for sure.Gonna get on a build server in a couple hours see if I can get this built before wipe tomorrow so I can use it as my main.Pretty awesome base and a ton or storage that I will for sure need.

@@MyGamingExperience Ok ran into a big problem already.Since you can't open the bunker anymore unless both roof pieces are of the same type there would be no way to break it.The only way to counter that is to have some way to place twig or wood down to place the second roof part on so you can break it to get in and out.If anyone knows any other fix to this that would work with this base let me know until I am gonna try to find a fix for it.

Whats the least amount of people you recommend for this base? I would be using a trio i feel like it might be a bit much for a trio
Might be tough for a trio, it could be done though. I was designing this base while thinking it would be for 8 player groups and things like that

As a trio who have loads of time in their hands can manage this base in about two to three days in a populated server. Even less if there is not many people. The thing is that as a trio you will be a big target to other people so you kinda need to be good pvper also.
Dude, most bases are made on the premise that the raider knows exactly where loot/tc is and is gonna go by the best possible route to it. But what about "gamble" bases? Bases where you hide the tc on a fake foundation or on a 2° floor honeycomb? Bases which you hide the loot on a random place? Bases with multiple door paths so raiders have to gamble which way to go? Fake raided bases? Fake wooden bases? The "best possible" kinda base are good and all, but I for a shity casual solo (like me!) I fell like the gamble is so much better.... What do you think of it?
Yeah making a base that has a tc in a very unpredicatable place can be great
I mean, Wooden bases just become prey to people with flamethrowers or flame rockets, and then having TC inside honeycomb isn't viable cause then you yourself cannot access it (Easily).
@@zukute2467 The wooden base is not entirely wood. Just the outside layer. The core would be metal or stone. The idea is to pass as a shitty solo newb base. Another solo may want to try (unsuccessfully) to flameraid, but groups, which are the real danger, would not bat an eye.
As for a TC on the honeycomb, it does not has to be a real honeycomb (although locking up a tc on a small base is not a bad idea at all). The idea is to play mindgames. People don't blowup honeycomb if they can avoid and they don't go blowup doors that don't go to the floor. If I put the tc on what looks from the outside a honeycomp on the shooting floor level (weird? I know, that is the idea). The raidrs will spend to much boom and time ultil they eventually find it.

When I placed the 3 triangle roofs, it broke the 2 TCs from the towers on that section of the base. You think I placed them on the wrong floor tiles i.e. the external ones and not main base or something else?
I am not sure, where you able to replace the tc? I know there are some conditional things with those roofs
@@MyGamingExperience it took over the external foundations that lead to the towers (detachable wall etc.) I couldn't replace the TCs as the foundations took over the TC from the main base, meaning it was too close and had to let it decay

don't like the usage of armored doors being that they are all splash able so it cuts the usage of using 16 rockets to get in each loot room. then 8 for each. would say put walls in-between them and use a ladder hatch to get up and over the wall.

Struggling to get those boxes just right on by the tc, although have been away from rust for a little while, hope i can get it right
they are a bit finnicky but you will get it!
Nice design, one problem I found is how easy it is just to blow under each loot room from both sides. Way too close to outside and door path.
you would have to do that 4 times, and you wouldn't be able to get the bunker in the core that way.

I never realized it but what is the point of putting a square frame and floor at the same square?
To close the gap from external setups, this is best practice for the roof since raider's love to land on top and top down bases

so my only question is, there is no entrance from the external tc towers into the main compound or compound gate. how do you get in?
there is a way to build it from the top part of the towers to the inside, or you can leave one of those barricades off on the detachable part and jump down

It seems that the loot rooms on first floor behind armored doors have a flaw - all boxes, barbecues etc. standing on the bottom half of the loot room (so, on the frame+floor stack) randomly get destroyed, I assuming because of stability recalculation - is that something I did wrong, or is it known?
weird, maybe it it's because there are 2 pieces in 1 space
I initially thought its cuz of the floor stack, I've had this happen on two different servers so it must be a design issue. I wonder what causes it. Still, great base!

Try this Build on a Building Server. At the end one of the external TC get destroyed by him selve and cannot set a new one. I destroyed the whole Tower but couldn´t figure out what the problem is :(

You can pull the heli's into the third floor there, if you mean for cars, honestly i was thinking about adding them to the externals

Why don’t you place tc flush against the raised foundation?
It weird, sometimes it won't let you upgrade the foundation when its too close, sometimes it does
Big facts and it sucks when it won't upgrade. Cause then your shooting out a tc just to upgrade 1 foundation which is soooooo annoying xD

I see a flaw... You do realize that your roof bunker is not "bi-directional" and cannot be open from the outside, only from the inside. You'll get a "no line of sight" message if you try from outside.
Yes, it's not really a flaw though, it only has to opened once when you first log on, it can stay open for the whole day. I did mention that in the video i think

It can only be opened from the inside atm
you will have to spawn in the bunker 1 time when you log in to open it. I think its very worth
why wouldnt you have a shooting floor with vertical embrasures instead of that. Just feel like your really exposed there. If they build a raid base thats taller than the external youd be very exposed
ok nvm I just built it. There's enough stability to do it but once a wall is missing its gone. Could just make the shooting floor one layer down. instead of having windows there
You could def. add more to those externals, even if they have a raid base, they still have to pass all of the vision from the other externals when they are trying to get into your core

is it me or the size of this base does not match the full upkeep... like it all seems so cheap, 4man on vanilla and its pretty easy to maintain like its harder to build than to maintain

Honestly the upkeep makes this base a no go... I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Too expensive for a solo duo base, and yes, it is a solo duo nothin more. Thnx for being honest about build costs though I respect that, but do look at them and think how many hours you'd have to spend to just farm that jazz.

not a fan but good idea lol, i think i like my old faithful design still, it just works so well minimum 3 hq walls and 3 sheet walls to tc and its cheap, wish i could commentate id make a base video on it
