When you mentioned you were doing this again I went back to rewatch your previous hunt and tried to do my own and it went worse than you could possibly imagine 😂 for the prompt about counting letters in book titles I landed on a book with THIRTY-EIGHT LETTERS. So you can imagine how fun that was. And for the one about finding a name on a page and finding an author with that name I landed on a fantasy book with only fully made-up names. And I did the final word search legit like 25 times and did not find a SINGLE WORD that existed in a book title 💀 safe to say I did not find a book to read lmao.
I’m sorry that you didn’t love the books! I do think it would be really interesting to see the stats on how many of your 10 out of 10 first chapters end up as 5⭐️ or just their range of rating in general!
Hi I'm a Julie! My next reading vlog is reading from authors that have my name and I've had to expand it to Julias as well because there are so few of us lol
Enjoyed the vlog, as always! You don’t feel the need to apologize for sharing about other parts of your life and family :) it’s comforting and fun to hear you talk
This is so fun! If you want an excuse to read some of the new books you just bought there's a readathon the last two weeks of June called New Book Knockout 😎💖

In a moment of pure drama I was watching this video during a thunder storm and the power flicked and my tv turned out right at the moment Kayla said "ready" and pointed at the book my tv turned off. I had to wait a moment and see if that was a dramatic editing thing or just the tech malfunctioning - what spontaneous fun!

@@BooksandLala 😂I remember watching you read it and being so sad when u hated it lmfao. I think the butcher by that author has much more mass appeal (I feel like everyone loves it including me). Jar of hearts is decently controversial but personally I loved it. Plus it’s fun to support a Canadian author since I live in Vancouver!

This was so fun! This is my first time doing one of the Scavenger hunt tbrs, and I don't have a huge physical library so I did a little stretching, but I ended up getting there! 1. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell (I have many favorite books, that one was the closest) 2. Christopher, so I grabbed Everyone Brave is Forgiven by Chris Cleave 3. London on the cover, but I stretched it and looked for a city. I got the City of Thirst by Carrie Ryan and John Parke Davis 4. Real, but I stretched it a bit and grabbed Really Truly Ruthie by Valerie Tripp 5. Awkward by Svletana Chmakova because the two main characters are wearing pink and green on the cover, just like on Really Truly Ruthie. 6. 224 pages, the same as the Clueless Girl's Guide to being a Genius by Janice Repka 7. The first two names on the page were Miss Snipal and Mr. DeGuy, neither of which I had. But using the third name, Adam, I got to Sierra Summer from the Annette series, illustrated by Adam Szwejkowski 8. Sierra Summer is twelve letters, so is Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas 9. The cover has two people facing away from each other looking kinda scared with someone spooky in the background, and so does the cover for Iron Tide Rising 10. I pointed at the word Water, so the book from my physical tbr I'll be reading is Water Song by Suzanne Weyn!

I just picked up The Blacktongue Thief by C buehlman a couple of months ago!
as someone who gets 95% of their books from the library, this was quite a feat of contortion 😅 but i ended up with "I Who Have Never Known Men" so i suppose i'll request *that* from the library and read it when it comes in. doesn't do anything for my physical tbr tho whoops

I tried to follow your prompts, 1. I started at Nettles by Adam Scovell since thats my most recent favorite book 2. from the acknowledgements I went with Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett 3. From the cover I picked found Fire and ice from Erin Hunter (yes thats a warrior cats book lol) 4. from the sentence I got I picked they cause thats an easy one lol and then decided on They both die at the end by Adam Silvera 5. The cover that I have of that books is orange and blue and while not an exact match i went with mr penumbra's 24 hour bookstore 6. that has 288 pages and i was really struggling so i took it quite liberally and picked something around 300 pages and went with geekerella 7. The name I got was Catherine and I don't have anything by an author with the name Catherine so I went to goodreads and just picked Snowed In by Catherine Walsh 8. The title has 8 letters so I picked Darkdawn by Jay Kristoff 9. Next was to pick something with a similar cover and perhaps this is cheating but I just picked Godsgrave from the same series 10. and then my hand landed on ministry at first which I don't have anything with so I tried again and got rising, I thought I didnt have anything with this on my TBR but I do actually, it was Rising storm by Erin Hunter which is yet again a warrior cats book except this is the fourth one and i have not even read the third one. I guess it might finally be time to continue reading warrior cats lol.

when i got to the last prompt, i opened to a page that just said “Part 2”. luckily i have a book on my shelf that’s called Boy Parts on my shelf, so i’m going to give that a go. but since i felt like that was too cheap, i went again and found the word ‘of’ and chose Portrait of a Thief as well. and i’m also going to attempt to read The Shadow Glass since I picked it up for the second prompt and i haven’t read it and it’s the only book i picked up in the entire scavenger hunt that i haven’t read

Ahh this is fun!! - Favorite book this year was the 9th and final book of The Expanse, Leviathan Falls > First name I saw was Danny. - I haven't read any books by a Danny apparently, but I HAVE read a book by Dani Bennett (Master of One) - There was a leaf on the cover of Master of One > Leaf Peepers (short horror comic by Mark Bouchard). - Page 50 was the very last page, and the fifth line was a song in the author's playlist : "Burning Desire To Draw Last Breath" Gulch > I chose Last > One Last Stop (Casey McQuiston) - One Last Stop is very pink, so I chose a very pink comic I loved called Don't Go Without Me (Rosemary Valero-O'Connell) - Don't Go Without Me is 116 pages > I haven't read anything else that's 116 pages but A Spindle Splintered (Alix E. Harrow) is 119 pages - Opened A Spindle Splintered and the first name I saw was Charm > Couldn't find anything I had read by someone called Charm, but Charmaine yes so I bent it a bit > Charmaine Wilkerson > Black Cake - Black Cake is 9 letters > Mooncakes (comic by Wendy Xu and Suzanne Walker) - The cover of Mooncakes features multiple people, food, a simple abstract yellow background > Similar to Meal (Blue Deliquanti) - Flipped to a random page and pointed the word Street > The Last House on Needless Street has a short wait at the library and is on my TBR, so we're going with that!! Thank you for the game, it was so fun
My Scavenger Hunt: 1. Magnolia Parks by Jessa Hastings -> “William” in the acknowledgments 2. Jackaby by William Ritter -> “door” on the cover 3. I’m gonna read Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon! 🎉
It’s crazy. I accidentally skipped the find a book with the same page number prompt so I had to do it twice. Both times the book the prompts told me to read off my TBR ended up being Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister and then you pulled it hoping to read it…. I guess I’m reading it now lol
Had to go to Alice, The Looking Glass Wars, Mazerunner, and Iris kielly Doesn't Date to actually find an acknowledgments page. Then I didn't have the first few names in my collection, so I jumped to Christina. (1) Picked Christina Dodd's A Well Favored Gentelman. (2) Then to Rosefire by C.C. Givens. (3) Then I am Still Alive by K.A. Marshall. (4) Lore by Alexandra Bracken. (5) Pure by Julianna Baggot . And of course, the names are El Capitan and Pressia, so I had to flip through the book a lot! (6)I don't own any books that share the name of a single character in Pure. So, I am using a name from a blurb on the back, Danielle Trussoni. So, Bridge Kingdom by Danielle Jensen. (7) The Curse of Saints by Kate Dramis. (8) Couldn't find another book in my collection with a hand and fire on the cover, so for over all design and colors, I picked Frost Blood by Elly Blake. (9) word was "never," so 10 is Nevernight by Jay Kristoff. That was way harder than it should have been🤣
Lol, well...now I need to read the Rotter House book? I have never heard of it but am intrigued by the meta-ness and need to know why you felt that way after finishing, lol.
This was super fun! My books were: A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers - there were no acknowledgements so I used the Jacket artists which was Christine (I chose the closest author name I had!) Autoboyography by Christina Lauren - there was a city! The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty - the word was 'way' The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers - it has a space, starry cover The Weight of the Stars by K. Ancrum - i didn't have the exact page number for the next choice but it was 378 pages All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir - the name I found was Ashlee The Beauty that Remains by Ashley Woodfolk - it has 20 letters The Lonely Hearts Hotel by Heather O'Neill - has stars on a mostly plain cover Midnight at the Electric by Jodi Lynn Anderson - I went through a couple of words but eventually landed on 'the', not super exciting but I get a highly anticipated for my next read! The Blood Trials by N.E. Davenport!
I guess I'll add my list here as well =D 1. Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman, found a 'Lucy' in the acknowledgments 2. The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley, the cover has orange light shining from a door way 3. Bit of a stretch, but Punainen huone ('The Red Room') by Kaj Korkea-Aho, the only viable words in the page 50 sentence were 'was' and 'and' ^^' 4. Gentlemen & Players by Joanne Harris, chose a book with similar colour scheme 5. Windup Bird Chronicles by Haruki Murakami, had 800+ pages so I just went with a closest number 6. The Complete Tales & Poems of Edgar Allan Poe, found a 'John' 7. Star of the North by D. B. John (Finnish title 'Pohjoisen tähti', 14 letters) 8. Lord of the Flies by William Golding (Finnish title 'Kärpästen herra', 14 letters, although the English titles have the same number as well apparently) Cover had a pair of glasses 9. Black Mad Wheel by Josh Malerman, cover had an eye (Closest thing to glasses) Word I found was 'Voicelessly' Aaand the book I'll be reading next is The Assistant by S. K. Tremayne. The Finnish title 'Äänet' translates to 'voices' That was a ride
My journey!! Fave book: Fruit Punch First name in acknowledgments: Cassie Smith Author with that name: feel free Zadie Smith Something from that cover: Blue Title with that something: The bluest eye 50 line 5: love Book with that word: love in color Same colors: fruit punch Book w/ same pages (176): el club de comics de supergirl Any page - name: Lili Book that shares author name: a girl walks home alone at night Ana lily amirpour Book with same number of letters (26): the life of Alexander the Great A book with similar cover: the Iliad of homer Random word: No Read: Kaiju No. 8
I did the scavenger hunt despite the fact that I already know my next read, I guess just for the sake of it. I used Goodreads for it because I barely own any books. My favorite book is Beetle & the Hollowbones and the first name in the acknowledgements was Susan. The only Susan on my Goodreads was Susan Rigetti with Cover Story. The cover was just a girl wearing sunglasses, but in the reflection you can see a building. It was hard to find any good objects for this, but I chose the word "window". This led me to The Wide Window by Lemony Snicket. Since I was using digital copies, page 50 could've been different, but in my copy the word "up" was on page 50, in line 5. The only book on my Goodreads with the word up was Burn Down, Rise Up. The cover of that had vaguely similar colors to Snapdragon which has the same number of pages as the kindle edition of Squad. The first name I found was Amber. I wasn't expecting to find anything for that, but there was one book, The Alchemy of Letting Go. Then, after realizing that it has 21 letters in the title and counting like 15 titles, I almost gave up and skipped this prompt until I realized that Ascendance of a Bookworm has 21 letters (if you ignore the "Part (blank) Volume (blank)" part). I picked Part 4 Volume 5 because I thought I could match the cover the best. After briefly scrolling through all the books on my Goodreads, I found a light novel, The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen, that had a fairly similar cover (girl in a fancy red dress with two people standing behind them). Then, finally, the word I picked at random was "my", so I ended up picking My Dearest Darkest. After all that work, I'm not even going to read the book soon. 😅 This did help me identify some books I need to remove from my tbr though.
I did the scavenger hunt with you and my next book will be She Come By It Natural (Natural was my final word from prompt 9) -it is a book about Dolly Parton by Sarah Smarsh. The scavenger hunt was entertaining for sure.
Yellow Face (May Chen) Ace by Angela Chen The Soulmate Equation by Christina Lauren (Same colors on the Cover) This Time Tomorrow by Emma Straub ->The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune (Both have rainbow colors on the cover) The True Love Experiment by Christina Lauren (396 pages) Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend (Jessica) The Change (9 Letters) Horrid by Katrina Leno (Ominous Flowers vining out with a dark cover) Honey & Spice by Bolu Bablola (Honey in the title).
Hi Kayla, doing the scavenger hunt along with you. So my favourite book of the year so far has been The Deal by Elle Kennedy, the acknowledgements took me to 'Jen', which lead me to April Enchantment by Jennifer Blake, the cover of which had a pair of kissing faces, a house and trees, I chose 'house' and that lead me to The House of the Spirits by Isabel Allende, page 50 line five gave me 'rain fell sadly on the flowers of the dead', I chose 'rain' and that lead me to Desert Rain by Elizabeth Lowell the cover of which is red, orange, yellow, green, and gold, those colours lead me to The Dead of the Night by John Marsden which has 271 pages and t4hat number lead me to Light on Snow by Anita Shreve, which lead me to the name Clara and the author Clara Elroy and her book Kiss of War, which has nine letters in the title, which lead me to Ghost Lake by Nathan Niigan Noodin Adler, the cover of which has the sun setting behind trees while a person camps in the snow beside a lake which has some kind of monster in it, which lead me to Hyperion by Dan Simmons, the random page was 408 the random word was 'bright' and that lead me to All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. I won't actually be reading that as I just picked Yellowface up from the library and I'm really excited to start that. This was so much fun, I hope you keep doing this every year.

Our Violent Ends by Chloe Gong 5. The Devil Takes You Home by Gabino Iglesias 6. The Midnight Library by Matt Haig 7. Hideaway by Nora Roberts 8. The Stand by Stephen King 9. She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb 10: MY READ IS: The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen
I had so much fun with this & took longer than I thought 😅! Babel > Peng The Cartographers > Door Under the Whispering Door > Great An Emotion of Great Delight > Teal/yellow Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow > 397 pgs The House in the Cerulean Sea > Lucy The Guest List > 12 letters A Fire Endless > Cover w/ fire Girls of Fate & Fury > Blade A Broken Blade 🎉
I started with Dead Witch Walking which gave me Diana, this led me to Outlander which gave me a thistle, I couldn't find a book with thistle in title so I cheated a bit and went with series name which was The Witches of Thistle Grove (payback's a witch). The line was at All, this gave me Turtles All ths Way Down which meant orange cover, this led to A Court of Silver Flames with 757 pages, the only book with that number was Dracula and other Horror Stories with had Jonathan, turns out Jonathan isn't an author name so shortened to John which went to Giant Days with 9. Allegiant was my result with a feather on cover, End of Days was next which gave me the word 'see' which is also hard to find. Soooooo I'm reading Demon Seed by Dean Koontz
I played along and used Watch Over Me by Nina Lacour as the last prompt, and remembered in the process that it was the book I ended up choosing the LAST time you did one of these videos! the book I got on my TBR is Today Tonight Tomorrow by Rachel Lynn Solomon 😊
"I was going for it but I got distracted by joy" best sentence I've heard someone say this year 💜
video series idea: read books with the same word in the title and the same genre, same as just did horror books with the word house 😂
This idea if buzz world readathon
It's always a fun time hanging out with you, whether you like the books or not.
😂 what an adventure.
oh wow!
I’m sorry that you didn’t love the books! I do think it would be really interesting to see the stats on how many of your 10 out of 10 first chapters end up as 5⭐️ or just their range of rating in general!
Ya you can't always find a great read every time 😊
Hi I'm a Julie! My next reading vlog is reading from authors that have my name and I've had to expand it to Julias as well because there are so few of us lol
Omg I love it!!
You just convinced me to subscribe to you 🙏 I'm too curious about how your vlog turns out
OMG- you HAVE to do more of these Kayla. I scavenged right alongside you today and had a BLAST! I'm addicted to this lol
That thick necklace would look so nice on its own as a statement piece that is still subtle!
Tripping over the table book haha! The stars really had to align for that. Maybe in good fortune for the local beet farmer! 👩🌾 ✨
Enjoyed the vlog, as always! You don’t feel the need to apologize for sharing about other parts of your life and family :) it’s comforting and fun to hear you talk
This is so fun! If you want an excuse to read some of the new books you just bought there's a readathon the last two weeks of June called New Book Knockout
😎💖
I love the look of the thick gold necklace with your hair color. Its giving book goddess.
I kinda love the thick, layered necklace look with the casual tee. ♥️
So much fun to watch and participate in 😊

In a moment of pure drama I was watching this video during a thunder storm and the power flicked and my tv turned out right at the moment Kayla said "ready" and pointed at the book my tv turned off. I had to wait a moment and see if that was a dramatic editing thing or just the tech malfunctioning - what spontaneous fun!
😅😅😅
This was so much fun to follow along with! My books were
- The Mask of Mirrors by MA Carrick- The first name I saw was Kyle and I couldn't find anything but the next name was Emily

Obviously I don’t know your taste but the true love experiment was a 5 for me!!

I haaaated that book, but I'm so happy you played along 🙊💕
@@BooksandLala 😂I remember watching you read it and being so sad when u hated it lmfao. I think the butcher by that author has much more mass appeal (I feel like everyone loves it including me). Jar of hearts is decently controversial but personally I loved it. Plus it’s fun to support a Canadian author since I live in Vancouver!
Woo I love these! 😌 I’m barely awake post nap so my own hunt is going to have to wait a second haha. 😅

6. that has 288 pages and i was really struggling so i took it quite liberally and picked something around 300 pages and went with geekerella
7. The name I got was Catherine and I don't have anything by an author with the name Catherine so I went to goodreads and just picked Snowed In by Catherine Walsh
8. The title has 8 letters so I picked Darkdawn by Jay Kristoff
9. Next was to pick something with a similar cover and perhaps this is cheating but I just picked Godsgrave from the same series
10. and then my hand landed on ministry at first which I don't have anything with so I tried again and got rising, I thought I didnt have anything with this on my TBR but I do actually, it was Rising storm by Erin Hunter which is yet again a warrior cats book except this is the fourth one and i have not even read the third one. I guess it might finally be time to continue reading warrior cats lol.

This concept was fun! I wish you had enjoyed the books better, but I loved watching you choose.
1. The Collected Regrets of Clover

4. Maybe You Should Talk to Someone
5. I Miss You When I Blink
6. The Golden Spoon
7. The Four Winds by Kristen Hannah
8. One True Loves
9. Live and Let Chai
10. Final book: The Secret Book of Flora Lea!
This was so much fun!!! Thank you for making this scavenger hunt.
Duke Undone >(tara)> Scavange the Stars >(Ocean) > Sea of Shadows >(child)> Demon Child >(blue/white)> Gemina >(672)> Guns of the Dawn >(Nathaniel)> The Scarlet Letter >(16)> A Deadly Education >(border and general vibes)> The Diviners > and the magic word was... 'anything'.
I feel like the universe is telling me to stop being indecisive and just pick a book off the TBR already. Any book at all 😂
Anyway, didn't have a book with 'anything' in the title, so I picked a second word and got 'wood' --- looks like Hazel Wood is my next read!
Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer - the name White
The Guinevere Deception by Kiersten White - light and shadows on the cover
The Library of Light and Shadow by M. J. Rose - the word "the"
The Woman Who Flummoxed the Fairies by Heather Forest - colors of cover were primarily purple and green with bits of blue and gold
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Bloomsbury paperback edition) - 317 pages

The Solitary House by Lynn Shepherd - cover has a shadowy man with a top hat walking away from the viewer
What the Devil Knows by C. S. Harris - the word "on"
From my summer TBR pile - People we Meet ON Vacation by Emily Henry. Yay!
This was so much fun! All the books in order of the questions! The city of brass, skandar, the book of cold cases, the daughter of smoke and bone ,what lies Beyond the veil under the silver night fall ,house of hollows ,where dreams descend

3. Across the Green Grass Field by Seanan McGuire - the word with

when i got to the last prompt, i opened to a page that just said “Part 2”. luckily i have a book on my shelf that’s called Boy Parts on my shelf, so i’m going to give that a go. but since i felt like that was too cheap, i went again and found the word ‘of’ and chose Portrait of a Thief as well. and i’m also going to attempt to read The Shadow Glass since I picked it up for the second prompt and i haven’t read it and it’s the only book i picked up in the entire scavenger hunt that i haven’t read

The book I got as my reading selection was You’ve Lost A lot of Blood by Eric Larocca. I’m actually in the middle of one of the authors novella bind ups so perhaps I’ll tack it on since I’m already in that headspace.
You are so creative with your videos. And your personality is so fun. I was so anxious by the time you finally successfully picked your book! 😩 😂
The necklace looks good, but it’ll probably look better with a dress or something more dressed up.
Not me trying to figure out the recipe for the braised beets... I love everything you mentioned in it.

Every heart a doorway- one

Perfect timing, couldn’t figure out what to read next. I ended up with…
📖 In my Dreams I Hold a Knife by Ashley Winstead
on my TBR from a previous video!👍🏻
You should do the Villain series. Evil queen, beast, and Ursula
Ahh this is fun!!
- Favorite book this year was the 9th and final book of The Expanse, Leviathan Falls > First name I saw was Danny.
- I haven't read any books by a Danny apparently, but I HAVE read a book by Dani Bennett (Master of One)
- There was a leaf on the cover of Master of One > Leaf Peepers (short horror comic by Mark Bouchard).
- Page 50 was the very last page, and the fifth line was a song in the author's playlist : "Burning Desire To Draw Last Breath" Gulch > I chose Last > One Last Stop (Casey McQuiston)
- One Last Stop is very pink, so I chose a very pink comic I loved called Don't Go Without Me (Rosemary Valero-O'Connell)
- Don't Go Without Me is 116 pages > I haven't read anything else that's 116 pages but A Spindle Splintered (Alix E. Harrow) is 119 pages
- Opened A Spindle Splintered and the first name I saw was Charm > Couldn't find anything I had read by someone called Charm, but Charmaine yes so I bent it a bit > Charmaine Wilkerson > Black Cake
- Black Cake is 9 letters > Mooncakes (comic by Wendy Xu and Suzanne Walker)
- The cover of Mooncakes features multiple people, food, a simple abstract yellow background > Similar to Meal (Blue Deliquanti)
- Flipped to a random page and pointed the word Street > The Last House on Needless Street has a short wait at the library and is on my TBR, so we're going with that!!
Thank you for the game, it was so fun
My Scavenger Hunt:
1. Magnolia Parks by Jessa Hastings -> “William” in the acknowledgments
2. Jackaby by William Ritter -> “door” on the cover
3. Lock Every Door by Riley Sager -> “Home of the mysterious Ingrid. Even though I have no idea who”
4. The Mysterious Affair at Styles by Agatha Christie -> golden/yellow cover
5. Beach Read by Emily Henry -> 358 pages
6. Tweet Cute by Emma Lord -> “Evans”
7. A Hopeless Romantic by Harriet Evans -> 17 letters
8. The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner (aka one of my favorite covers ever) -> purple, gold cover
9. The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde (B&N classic editions) -> “everything”
(9) word was "never," so
10 is Nevernight by Jay Kristoff. That was way harder than it should have been🤣
Lol, well...now I need to read the Rotter House book? I have never heard of it but am intrigued by the meta-ness and need to know why you felt that way after finishing, lol.
This was super fun! My books were:
A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers - there were no acknowledgements so I used the Jacket artists which was Christine (I chose the closest author name I had!)
Autoboyography by Christina Lauren - there was a city!
The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty - the word was 'way'
The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers - it has a space, starry cover
The Weight of the Stars by K. Ancrum - i didn't have the exact page number for the next choice but it was 378 pages
All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir - the name I found was Ashlee
The Beauty that Remains by Ashley Woodfolk - it has 20 letters
The Lonely Hearts Hotel by Heather O'Neill - has stars on a mostly plain cover
Midnight at the Electric by Jodi Lynn Anderson - I went through a couple of words but eventually landed on 'the', not super exciting but I get a highly anticipated for my next read!
The Blood Trials by N.E. Davenport!
I guess I'll add my list here as well =D
1. Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman, found a 'Lucy' in the acknowledgments
2. The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley, the cover has orange light shining from a door way
3. Bit of a stretch, but Punainen huone ('The Red Room') by Kaj Korkea-Aho, the only viable words in the page 50 sentence were 'was' and 'and' ^^'
4. Gentlemen & Players by Joanne Harris, chose a book with similar colour scheme
5. Windup Bird Chronicles by Haruki Murakami, had 800+ pages so I just went with a closest number
6. The Complete Tales & Poems of Edgar Allan Poe, found a 'John'
7. Star of the North by D. B. John (Finnish title 'Pohjoisen tähti', 14 letters)
8. Lord of the Flies by William Golding (Finnish title 'Kärpästen herra', 14 letters, although the English titles have the same number as well apparently) Cover had a pair of glasses
9. Black Mad Wheel by Josh Malerman, cover had an eye (Closest thing to glasses) Word I found was 'Voicelessly'
Aaand the book I'll be reading next is The Assistant by S. K. Tremayne. The Finnish title 'Äänet' translates to 'voices'
That was a ride
My journey!!

I'm reading a book with "from" in the title right now! It's From Below and I'm having a good time.
Twelve Nights in Rotter House is so good with the most amazing twist!
Ugh House of Cotton. I also was so excited for it. I ended up hating it.
I did the scavenger hunt with you and my next book will be She Come By It Natural (Natural was my final word from prompt 9) -it is a book about Dolly Parton by Sarah Smarsh. The scavenger hunt was entertaining for sure.
Super interesting to me that St. Ambrose is YA in Canada because it's being pushed out as adult in the US.
Oh now that's interesting!!
Yellow Face (May Chen)
Ace by Angela Chen
The Soulmate Equation by Christina Lauren (Same colors on the Cover)
This Time Tomorrow by Emma Straub ->The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune (Both have rainbow colors on the cover)

Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend (Jessica)
The Change (9 Letters)
Horrid by Katrina Leno (Ominous Flowers vining out with a dark cover)
Honey & Spice by Bolu Bablola (Honey in the title).
This was so much fun, I hope you keep doing this every year.

ok i HAVE to do this soon it looks so fun!!!
