I feel like Xander used up all his luck on Cease's no-hitter when he fumbled the ball twice in the 5th and in the 8th. It just came back to bite him yesterday. Could you imagine if Cease went into the 9th with no hits and Xander blowing an actual no-hitter? That would be devastating.
Every time the Astros lose I am a little happier, especially when it's our Padres. I don't know why I can't get over the cheating thing. Maybe it's cause the consequences were so minor. As an old guy who misses complete games, I don't buy your argument about injuries. It's not the innings, it's the focus on velocity that is wrecking arms. The obsession with starters throwing 95-97 instead of like 92-95 it THE reason for pitchers being so fragile. It is so odd the Arraez isn't a good fielder. He is a dedicated hitter, and it's just weird he can't put in that dedication to fielding.
