Great video Daphne 👌 Joan is always a great inspiration, and is the master of the biggest Rabbit holes of the diamond painting world 😂
I keep meaning to get around to making my own XS conversion projects like you showed as well - so many projects and not enough time!! Thanks for watching!!
This is so cool. I love that you do random acts of kindness. I love doing them myself. 💕🌸⚘
They are fun! Thanks for watching!!
Awesome video Daphne! I too went down the make your own release papers rabbit hole. I have done the backing paper method along with the silicone legal sized paper from Amazon. I was able to get my inkjet to print on it with the glossy photo paper settings. The flimsiness of the silicone paper was the problem. I ended up putting two sheets together (silicone side inwards) and running it thru a laminator. Bingo! Study durable release custom papers! Joan’s video is awesome too. Made me want to invest in a color laser printer!
Interesting - the laminating doesn’t make them too stiff? So then you have the pattern on both sides? Gotta admit, I’m having a lot more fun with this project than I expected - I’m still playing around with ideas almost a week later!!
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous the design side gets laminated not the release side. It makes them much more durable. Not too stiff.
@@jessdiamondpaints Oh, I see!
Wow! Amazing how many of us needed this info....who knew? Thank you SO much Daphne...great video!
Thanks for watching!!
All your papers are super cute. Such a great idea to avoid wasting a perfectly good backing paper after making your stickers. I'm not sure if it's in the settings of the software, or the printer, but you can set your margins to zero and get it to print edge to edge. Will probably have to play around with that to find it. I can never remember.
I did a bit of search and found it - I have to change the settings in my printer & my cutting software, but it is possible. Thanks for watching!!
I’m so glad you tried this! ❤️ from 🇨🇦
I am thoroughly enjoying the whole process, especially playing around with all the patterns! Thanks for watching!!
Thanks for all the research you do. I have similar software with my Scan'n cut...
Thanks for watching!!
It’s mad how all of a sudden this seems to be the rage. I have been playing around myself too then your video pops up 😂 I’m in the UK and one sided silicone paper is pretty expensive and can’t seem to be bought here. I found one company but they only sell it by a 25m or 100 mt roll 😝 If in the UK go along to your post office and ask them for their used label backings. They only throw them away otherwise. These are one sided and printable on too all you have to do is remove the left over bit of sticker Bob’s your aunt and the best part is it’s free! I use Microsoft Word and then print borderless there is no waste then. I have an HP photo printer and am signed up to the Instant Ink program which for me is £9.99 a month for around 300 pages but what you don’t use in the previous month gets rolled over some months I go through 2 or 3 ink cartridges so all that for £9.99 is a bargain.
My hubby actually suggested the backing of the 4X6 label stickers I buy for my postage labels. The only issue for me is that my printer doesn’t like 4X6 papers - it jams. I never thought of going to the post office for waste - nice!! Thanks for sharing!!
Love the release papers
Thanks for watching!!
That is great you can make your own release papers. Thanks for the video on this

Pretty cool.
I'm having fun! Thanks for watching!!
Great video! Thanks….
Thanks for watching!
That is such a great video. Thanks for telling us how to make release papers. You have some great designs there. But I have to say I'm partial to the maple leaf 🍁. 😊
I should make some with the Canadian flag! Thanks for watching!!
@DiamondPaintingAnonymou🇨🇦 Yes you should
Funny, I have a Silhouette also, with business edition 😂 Great minds! I've had mine for years and would never trade it for anything!
I have so much fun playing around with it!!
❤❤❤❤
This is soooo awesome. I have a Cricut cutting machine.
It's so fun to play around with!! Thanks for watching!!
great video!! thank you! Do you have any tutorial on how to convert imges to your own diamond art patterns? using the silhouette cameo 3... thank you!
Not beyond what I show in this video. Just repeat the pattern within the silhouette software. Thanks for watching!!
Ok, great video. But for the poor that don't have all them fancy machines and brains to go with it 😉 jk I bought some large solid stickers with a design I like, peel off the sticker and stick it to the back, therefore making the silicone side now able to use on your dp. Also I plan to find dp of main size I prefer and just stick the big rectangle sticker straight on the plastic. Then as I cut to make a place to work on I save the pieces. I don't know, I really don't use them anyway. I just can't afford a bunch of gadgets.
As long as it works for you, it’s all good. I just like fancy machines!! 😂
I use non stick baking paper
Also a great option!!
How can I order some from you
Can you change the size of the release paper?
You can certainly make the pieces larger or smaller, depending on what you want. It is just limited by the size of the paper you are printing on. So you could have one large sheet of 8.5X11 or 8.5X14 paper, or you can cut them down to whatever size works for you. Thanks for watching!
Where can I get a free version of silhouette studio. And is there a way I can shrink down my pattern on my printer settings instead of using a program
@@amandagreenholtz4629 You can find the free version of Silhouette studio on their website. Thanks for watching!!
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous thanks so much. You are the reason I’m gonna try to make my own cover paper too many cute patterns out there. And your so welcome you’re awesome love the channel
How did you create the box for your design to go in I’m playing around with the free version of silhouette can’t figure it out lol 😂
I may need a crash course on silhouette, because now it’s not letting me use the designs in the program I don’t know if it’s something I’m doing or does it need an update I downloaded the version you used in the video.
@@amandagreenholtz4629 There are tons of tutorials on RUclips for the silhouette software. Good luck!!
did you try reducing your margins on your print options?
Yep. Even when I pick borderless and other options according to the manual, doesn’t work. After much searching, it will not print borderless on 8.5X11 paper. Thanks for watching!!
I would say technically the sticker paper is free. You paid to make stickers.
Yep! Thanks for watching!!
