I absolutely love how conversational and real your videos are brotha! I always learn little gems when you just go with the flow and talk through your process =) keep em comin mane
Double thumbs up for this comment, I would love to see you some better representations of audio farms in our grade editor if that would even be possible but such a great idea.
@@malobeats , also make the plus and minus buttons move thru the program like the q link button. Great video ,your content is easy to understand and helps out alot.
@@malobeats I saved a project and went back to the project and it rearranged the tracks, then I noticed the second it made random file with crazy file name.
Awesome video as usual. Why not either use time correct to align the layered drums, or simply copy the first layer and paste it above it? Also a little trick when I found if I pitch down drums and they lose fidelity. I treat the drums and add a little reverb and alter the envelope. You can EQ and compress and blend em to make it sound smooth.. Takes a lot of tweaking but it works as long as the pitched down drums are still reasonable…
Oh man, THANK YOU !!! I need to try this tip with the drums on adding Verb and comp after pitching down. I usually like to ad verb to my drums but I never thought about it after pitching it down drastically. Ima try this out 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Hey brother, thank you so much and I’m actually using this zoom h6 to record my audio for most of my videos, and it sounds amazing. I’m obviously put in a microphone into the zoom but that’s been my set up as of right now.
Hey brother, you have no idea how much it means to me for you to take time and share your feedback with me. Thank you for hanging out with me in this video. Much love and blessings to you
Yo MALO you dropped a ton of jewels. I think if you have a perfect loop the number of beats in it should ALWAYS be a even number unless the time signature is like 3/4 5/4 7/4 etc. if you put the wrong beats per bar it will read a incorrect tempo. Atleast thats what I learned Lol, love the videos.
Hey Chad, thank you so much for tuning in and sharing some of his amazing input. As of lately, I’ve also been exploring a bit of grief slicing, which has been quite interesting. I have run into some of these off time signatures, and it could get pretty interesting with those records but a lot more challenging. I appreciate you brother. Thank you so much for tuning in and sharing this amazing input.
You are most definitely an asset to the community my brother, and I always get ready to cook after watching. very VERY informative and I always get a nugget from your content. God bless you and your family my brother, and keep shining!🙏🏾✊🏾💚
Solid workflow, gave me some ideas for my own from this so I wanted to pass on something to think about regarding your break and kit tracks when you nudge the drums to sound good have you tried using a little fast mother-ducker on the break with the sidechain from the kits snare and kick pads you can dial it in then and sometimes I find it makes it feel like it hits even harder and can sound even more natural with the break if you are subtle with it nice quick attack and release to avoid that pumping vibe on the compressor ;)
This is a gem, thank you so much for taking the time and sharing this with us. There’s actually sounds amazing being able to keep the ambience of that break while letting those drum slab poured. Thank you so much for this insight.
At this project tempo you can take your one bar drum loop chop to 4 pads. Record the drum loop, next you can in program edit layer one shots (check there is no air in front of the samples). One of the quarter is for example a hi hat and a snare, then you need layer two one shots and messing around with shift function. Sound weird, but its verry effective in most situations. But i belive you guys allready know this :-)
Thanks for these passionating (and passionate) video ! The piano sample was very interesting and all your explanation on how you add the drum were so useful. Thanks a lot. I'v tried to hear the phase between the two kicks, bit it was so hard for me to hearing the variation. I'll try again. Take Care.
Hi if it is possible would you please make a video using the mpc live mk11 as a controller in a daw, i would like to see the power of the mpc in that fashion. Thanks
I'm new to MPC. Is there a way to sample the left and right channels separately? I've always used Maschine so I just separate the channels in Audacity then drag them over to the Maschine software pretty quickly. haven't found a way to do that on MPC yet.
That trim tip to hit the pad 16 is a lifesaver! I do like that a lot I’d have to say. Definitely some great tips and tricks in this video. 💪🏾
