@comic book university After ur vid I hopped over to Comixology and read Darkness #1(free w/Unlimited) and between issues I stumbled upon another Image comic called "Sam & Twitch" (they were a duo of detectives from Spawn comics who got their own miniseries) and it's not only a VERY good story w/typically amazing Image artwork, but it's also "mob related" similar to Darkness, I know your take on "gangster" flicks(I feel the same way, for the exact same reasons) but like Darkness this is a really cool take but more a homicide detective mystery than mafia genre. You'll probably dig it...

@@6thElementComics Nice Jay-Z shirt. You're going to need to get a better microphone or some editing software to increase your volume; I can barely hear you. I had the same problem when I started. I subbed and liked.

I was worried a bout that a bit, I knew that was an issue but there are so many mics in every price range(I am on a very low budget starting out) on eBay and I just dont know what is good enough for what amount of money, u use a headset a lot, do u prefer that to a condenser mic for any reason?
And hey THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time to check it out! Were u able to hear what I said at all? Do u think it is a good idea for a channel? There's definitely a demographic out there for it and I haven't seen anything exactly like it... I dont know how to get views other than tags and keywords in description basic stuff which doesnt do much at all, I thought of getting guys like you and maybe Rob(Comic Explained) to give me some shout outs would be a good way, I wanted to wait to have good quality vids(sound etc) before I did too much "advertising" but Idk...
The Darkness was an amazing video game.. I'm still bummed that they left us on such a cliffhanger. Wonder if the comic was left the same way

One of my top 5 characters of all time.
I remember this was pretty huge back in the day and almost every issue was always in yellow which meant hot in Wizard magazine 😁👍

killing Jackie made me quit collecting comics. the way they finished his storyline was so bad. Jackie Estacado was my Favorite character of all time

@@TimmyTurner421 yes they did. people may call it petty but the Darkness was my most valued comics killed him off with no honor and the story was pure trash take note the comics was cancelled and he didnt even die in his own comic. after all the adventure and all the emotional stuff the character went into, the last issues were completely out of his character. he got killed with no major plot battle he just got killed. i refuse to accept that the events after "artifacts" was cannon my comics collecting ended after artifacts volume 3 since they screwed the whole story that led to that sick 90's killer for me
This must have come out after I dropped off of comic collecting. My earliest memories of Image were of constant delays of titles. Youngblood was relatively on time, as was WildCats and Spawn, but the others were really hit and miss.

I just started playing The Darkness 2 again since X360, didnt even know there were comics! and it really makes me sad but also really REALLY MAD, that we will NEVER EVER get Adult videogames/content like this ever again (mainly in video games though). People have become so soft and thin skinned and think everything in comics & video games has to be a reflection of real life. Everyone has to make sure every box is checked so that Communist Twitter doesn't start crying. Look how bad games have gotten since 2015, hardly ANY gore anymore. All the woman look like men and have tits smaller than myself and everyone has zeroed in on Identity Politics. Its a travesty. My last hope is Starfield i know its DEF NOT gona be an Adult title but its a BGS game and they make great games for mods. New Vegas was an AWESOME game to mod. If Starfield is another BGS bust, thats it for me i will be throwing in the towel for modern gaming and i will be sticking to games made BEFORE 2015.
