Oh my goodness! Compassionate detour! What a great phrase. We had our Relief Society ministering conference this morning and that is exactly what we talked about, I just wish I'd had this name to give it. I want it to be a guiding principle for the rest of my life. Thank you!
Great insight! I love each story comparison and how to apply them! We need to love first as He did and let Him into our hearts so we can be healed and then share it with others! He was always helping “the one” even in the busiest and often tension filled moments.
I am being so enlightened by your videos. It's like being in a really great Gospel Doctrine class!! I am currently on a mission in Chile and I speak very little Spanish so it has been really hard going to church and not partaking of the good news of the gospel there. Your insights have lifted my heart and helped me feel like I am walking where He walked. Thank you.
Your videos have been transformational for me. I am able to understand so much more than if I were doing this completely on my own. I am then able to take your passion and excitement for the scriptures, and pass that onto my children. I can't express the gratitude I feel for you both. HWLF has already helped me this past week. I have had several situations where I have had to really look inward to figure out how I would handle the situation. Each time HWLF came to my mind. I followed that guidance, and even if the outcome wasn't what I would have chosen, the peace and closeness I have felt with Christ has been palpable. Thank you!
Just learned about you two doing these and WOW did I enjoy this one (my first)! Compassionate detours, asking peoples’ names (and remembering them), HWLF, the power of sharing testimony... Made my day! Thank you!
Thank you so much for mentioning the Addiction Recovery Program!! It is a wonderful program. My heart is with that program and again thanks so much for mentioning it!!
Great discussion this week. I really enjoyed the personal insights gained from the stories of the Savior. The discussion really emphasized a characteristic of the Savior that I feel very passionate about. The Savior is aware of each of us and is caring for us. Keep up the good work you two!
Thanks for the wonderful study insights! Today we know more about the conditions that plagued the people in Jesus' day, and continue to be present in our day. FYI, palsy isn't the same as paralysis. And regarding the woman with an 'issue of blood', when a woman was having her period she was considered to be unclean and was prohibited from mingling closely with others. An issue of blood was most likely a condition where this woman continually bled as if from a period, i.e., blood issued from her. There are medical reasons for this, but the social implication is that she was treated as if unclean and untouchable, in her case for years.
Have you ever read "Cutting for Stone"? It's a novel about a doctor who treats women with fistulas. I imagine that poor women with the issue of blood to have had a similar condition. I also love, love, love your comment about job shadowing Jesus!
Dunno if it’s possible but can you guys just do a couple videos a week instead of trying to fit everything into one 30 minute vid? Not trying to be mean but I just learn a lot and really enjoy your lessons 😀❤️
Thank you so much for sharing your talents! my husband and I love your discussions and we tell everyone they need to watch your two! I have two questions for you two .... 1- In last weeks lesson was their 2 handouts? 2- Do you have the website for the WWJD bracelets? Thanks again Dianne
I only saw the one handout for last week www.emilybellefreeman.com/newsletter-archive Everything they talked about seemed to "fit" on the one paper. Hope that helps.

Are you guys using the "come follow me" study guide from the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints?
Yes.
I wonder though if Jesus really was upset about the little girl dying. He knew he could heal her by bringing her back to life. I think he had no fear
