I admit, I actually liked it a lot more than I thought. However, I did hate the start. And I ONLY liked Venom (the alien). The start was whatever, nothing special. Eddie was a dumbass, nothing special, literally didn't care about him at all. But once Venom started to show up more it became a lot better. I give it a 6.5, would probably say higher but again the start was whatever. Eddie was whatever.
When I was explaining the history of Venom to my mom (who had just seen a pic of Venom for the 1st time & gone "Whyyyy?") I ended the explanation with "He was created during the 90's punk years" and she just nodded knowingly and went "Aaah, that explains everything. It all makes sense now." lol
It was such a great movie. I just love it. I can not wait for the second part. Yes, I think there will be another part. Why? In the scene after the credits, we see a man who will carry Carnage. It explains everything
