I love how you give credit to Adam not many pro drivers would ever say ‘I like what my competitor is doing I tried it and like it. This is just another reason why your the total package. Stay humble, and keep on keepin on.
Great explanation for those of us that needed a run down of the ESC settings. I run that same motor/esc setup in my buggy and will give your recommendations a try. For my truggy with 2000kv, other than going down to 4 or 5 for torque is there anything else you recommend adjusting?
Great video Ryan. You helped me with my RX8 settings at the X-RAY challenge. My laps times, consistency, motor temps, and tire wear all improved. Thanks again.
Hey Ryan, frequency is pulses per second usually , so the higher the number the more pulses in a second. The less pulses, the more aggressive throttle will feel because it stays for a bit longer on max voltage and low voltage… unless that number means something else👍 i can go in more detail for PWM but maybe that is not what the number in the tekin electronics means.✌️
Thank you for the education! I very well could be wrong on the explanation, but at least on the on track feeling I know I explained that correctly. But I did think that's what I remember from the Tekin video on Frequency.
Awesome video. Thank you! I'm just getting back into it after taking 3 years off. I have a 10px As well. Could you give me a base idea as far as throttle settings? I'm used to drag racing settings, but I know they will be a bit different for this. Thanks again
Ryan, thank you for this, I put this setup on the buggy at Thornhill this last weekend and it was a nice improvement for sure. Where would I go from here to get more burst over a triple out of a 180? Felt like I needed a bit more run up, having to go a little wide to set up for them. Guys running larger KV motors could get that pop while hugging the corner. Maybe just asking to much out of a 1900 or is there more to be had in that respect? Thanks!
With normal setup and it can vary by track and ambient temperatures I can be anywhere from 150-200 on motor and 120 or so on speedo. I drive pretty hard though and again lots of variability from event to event.

Thanks Bill. 🙏
Thanks Ryan next time you visit Adrenaline I'll have you look over my Gen2 esc.
Sure thing. But same set-up will work in that as well if you or someone else has a Hotwire you can check it out with.
Well explained Ryan thanks
Very welcome!
Top notch video. Right to the point thanks for the info
Glad it was helpful!
You have big hands 🙌
They don’t cal me the worlds tallest R/C pro for nothing. 👍🏼👏🏼
@@RyanLutz thank you for the great content. It helps a lot.
Thanks….Great info ….God bless
Hope it was helpful. Thank you!

I sometimes run a little more drag brake in truggy around 12-15. Everything else basically the same. 👍🏼
Great video especially for us just getting back into the sport after a 20 plus year break.
Awesome. Welcome back! A lot has changed hasn’t it! A lot easier in many respects.
Thankyou so much
Most welcome 😊
Not enough Tekin Ads ... ;-)
I’ll try to squeeze in more next time! 🤣
Awesome explanation and tutorial, thank you Ryan!

Great to hear!
Be sure to check out the new brake settings. I think they are an improvement. Thanks Drake. 👍🏼

Yes! More videos on your E cars. There’s not enough pro information on them. Are your settings the same in your ETruggy?
Basically except as mentioned in the video I run torque level of 4 or 5 in truck. I also use a little more drag brake usually. Around 12-15.

On the radio i generally leave the throttle at 100epa. I do all throttle settings in the speedo which are shown in the video.
Great video! Should we discuss Remote Data Erase ;)

Up on the torque level and or lower on the throttle frequency will both help in that regard.
@@RyanLutzThanks Ryan!!
Great video! I feel like the electronics setup isn’t covered much between pro drivers on the 1/8 side.
Thank you. Hope it is helpful!
Thanks Ryan
You got it. 👍🏼
Thanks Ryan, very helpful!
You're welcome!
Thanks for this video Ryan, you motivated me to try the new brake settings this weekend!
Great to hear! Let me know what you think!
How much different are your eTruggy settings from the buggy? I find it hard to find some good info on truggy settings online.
Not too much. Similar principle. Only difference really is torque level around 4-5.
What temps are you getting at the end of a 10 min main?
