canelo has some skills, but canelo can't press like the typical mexican fighters, margarito, angulo, chavez senior. canelo just don't have that stamina, and he will be outbox by guys like floyd. i don't about lara, but i'm putting my money on lara. lara said himself, he said after the 4th round. i say bythe 6th, if by the 6th canelo can't knock out lara, i'm sorry for canelo

This is a great fight for fans, i can't wait. Im sure it well be interesting (style dont make fights) what make fights is two great boxers simple as that. both have strengths and weakness.

I think Canelo will compete and give a great fight, but Lara is a surgeon boxer and a very tricky, unconventional, southpaw. Canelo is in for a very rough night. I honestly don't see Canelo winning, but I also didn't see him beating Trout. Lara by decision..
He didn't beat Trout, he was lucky as hell to get the nod in that one.

Alex Brooker I disagree. He beat Trout fair and square, not by much, but he did win. I'm not going to dispute points, rounds, and by how much, but what can't be disputed is that Canelo actually showed up and displayed a new set of defensive skills I had not seen before. I was actually laughing my ass off watching Trout miss sooooo much, I couldn't believe it. Picked up some speed too. But no matter how well Canelo has gotten, I think he should have waited a little longer to fight this cuban killer. We'll find out soon enough if he bit off more than he can chew..
Alex Brooker canelo didn't beat trout? canelo was the bigger, stronger, faster man that nigh. backed him up almost every round, countered him in the 7th round and displayed better defense, something a lot people thought trout will exploit. finally canelo made trout look uncomfortable. smh
HyogaX9 I didn't see Canelo winning BEFORE he got in the ring with Trout. When they actually fought, I was very surprised that Canelo actually out-boxed him. What surprised me the most was Canelo's dramatic improvement in head-movement, footwork and speed. He made Trout look slow and made him miss by just moving his head, standing right in front of him. I had no doubt that Trout was the faster guy before he fought Canelo, but it sure didn't look that way.
people always underestimate canelo. i knew he was going to lose with mayweather but given 2 years he would have beaten him too. the guy has raw talent. yes there are a few things he needs to work on like his conditioning but he's still the most physically gifted boxer in the 154 division and to be 23 years old he also has very solid skill.
I didn't know Lara was fighting Mexican Brat Pitt.

I like Lara in this fight.. but all the smack talk he's been doing he needs to show up out box and beat up Canelo. I hate it when he gets on his bike and runs around. He has great power fast hands and great foot work all he needs is heart

yo no creo que la escuela cubana sea la mejor ,creo que la mejor escuela es la de etados unidos ,no en todos lados pero en general ,por que ? por que hay gente de todos lados y combina estilos de muchas partes etc. despues sigue la escuela de mexico ,por que es la mas combativa ,despues yo diria que sigue la de puesrto rico y japon y bueno digamos que junto a la de cuba ,lo que tiene actualmente el boxeo cubano es que es un tanto nuevo en ciertas cuestiones pero no lo veo como insuperable ,creo que en un 10 años el boxeo cubano sera otro tipo de boxeo pero hasta ahi ,sin afan de ofender pasara el sensacionalismo de los boxeadores cubano,me parece aun mejor el de puerto rico es mas lucido!
