I haven’t meditated but I’m definitely wired to appreciate this, I feel for people who think the universe is just an accidental mechanical machine, how limited and ultimately bleak their life will become as they grow older and move towards death.
This Oneness is my conclusion as well. I witnessed nonstop fractals of every conceivable form (most in streams) from May 5 to June 2, 2009. Comatose in Intensive Care; I know what I saw was Spiritual Energy, from single and cellular to fields and even intergalactic currents. MAN WHAT A RIDE.

Some of us are wrongly identified with something else that is not us. Identified with thoughts about who we are supposed to be, because of our past. And also thoughts about what we don't want to happen again. And we act according to these thoughts saying this is what we want. But we must dig and find the TRUE us, our hearts voice. No matter where you are, believe in yourself and make as much effort to follow your intuitive voice at all times - eventually everything will become clear, the weight will be lifted off of you and you will discover happiness and peace beyond what you may have been able to imagine. Everything we experience is due to the way we see it.

I've been watching ever so many videos on infinity/God/eternity etc lately but no video has spoken to me like this one. I have to admit to having been a tad sceptical when I saw 'scientist' (I know, it doesn't sound open-minded) as, in my experience, rationalists tend to overlook critical elements of consciousness and not 'get it', but John here produced excellent point after excellent point, not merely wheeling out slogans to sound 'enlightened' but linking it all together into a coherent whole. Respect!

Although I do agree with this overall philosophy of one universal consciousness I do also agree with those commenting that he does not offer any scientific evidence for the so-called Unified Field

the Unified Field is a predominant theory but know one knows what consciousness really is or if consciousness is a factor of that unified field. So this is just this guys theory.
However, to me it doesnt seem hard to philosophically deduce that there is only THE ONE THING, THE ALL. there is an I and a you, you are an aspect of the all, and so am I, we are each a temporary form of being of the all that is currently individualized as you and I. there is a singular field of energy constantly changing form, that field of underlying energy in one current form is you and another is me, we are the same thing and yet different expressions. the all is all within and around all, within and without to some sort of infinity. There is only THE ONE THING

This part explains the polarity within this world of forms. Opposites cannot exist divided. No good without bad. No life without death. No long without short.
Everything is relative, everything is paradoxical. Everything is inherently neutral.

I love Prof. John Hagelin (the talking phycisist here). Allthough he counts for many physicists as a guy who demonstrates that "intelligence doesn't protect against dumbness" I still believe that at least 20 - 30% of his statements do have a somewhat true core, honestly.
But I agree as long as neuroscience doesn't 100% assert stg. like "we are unable to find conciosness in the brain"...all that here stays vague and more of a wishfull thinking and an attempt to lie to oneself in order to live a super magic life. But still I feel deep inside that some of it is true.

@@hillpitt4585 Just because you don't like it doesn't make if false. Reality doesn't care what we feel, what is true remains true regardless of whether we accept it or not. Actually, Oneness is not something to be feared of, separation is scarier than Oneness. As God, you have the ability to express yourself in many forms and communicate with yourself. So even if there's only You, you are not lonely. There's a difference between being alone and being lonely, you know. Only a person who experienced Oneness can understand that it is the most enjoyable feeling you'll ever get.

It's just now science is catching up with the teachings of spiritual masters of the past. Hindu, Buddhist and other ancient spiritual teachings are no different from the teachings of Christ, only worded differently and in many cases understood differently. Jesus Himself preached unity and oneness in all things (on countless occasions) and how what affects one affects another. What you reap is what you sow, karma, etc.
In the words of Jesus directly and indirectly through the holy spirit, it was written...
"For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ". "For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body-Jews or Greeks, slaves or free-and all were made to drink of the one Spirit".

Again this preaches oneness in all things. There is no such thing as separation. All of creation make up the body of Christ. If we don't exist God doesn't exist; if God doesn't exist we don't exist). Spiritually/energetically everything is connected.
"See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition (false doctrine), according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ. It's called unified field *theory* for a reason. It's still an open line of research and there is no accepted unified field theory.
So, it looks like that the universal field theory is trying to introduce God back to our life through the back door. We are united at the core, and that is One God - is that what it is saying?
No, that is not correct. God did not create you or me. It is my soul which created me, in the same way your soul created you. We are all different souls but we are same also, because we are all souls. It is like the environment of the earth, which is filled with same oxygen molecules, but the molecule in USA is different from the molecule in China. The following example will show that our soul has the consciousness. Nothing else can produce consciousness.
A baby boy was born with birthmarks of bullet wounds on chest and back. Doctors, nurses, parents verified that observation. Around age two, when the boy learnt to speak, he said - his name in previous birth was N, he died in hospital H, in town T, on date D, due to a gunshot wound in chest. Researchers visited the hospital, and verified the entire truth of the boy’s statements from the autopsy records in the hospital. Such babies, who remember past life, are called Jatiswar in Sanskrit.

IdentifiablePerson you are right about it and he is right too, the field that you are is different from the field that I am, that was the point of Creation, however the field that is our earth includes both our fields etc, it's a hierarchy, however it's just an illusion, all energy and particles are illusory as their wave nature is more fundamental, physics finally confirmed that wavefunction is real and also through Wheeler's retrocasaulity experiments that only observation makes any particle, no observation= no particles, no 3d world no you no me, no stars and no galaxies, it's only a wave of all possibilities, which is a wave function that is not local or better said universal wave function that is not localized anywhere, it is said that it is made of the same stuff thoughts are made of, you cannot observe it, as our minds are only designed to observe the manifestation of it, so the universal wave function is the only fundamental reality, but who is it? That's you, me and everything else that has ever existed from the smallest to the biggest. Thought created energy or imagined energy makes no difference in order to experience anything, how can you experience anything without any reference? So the ultimate masculine is a thought (an awareness) and the ultimate feminine is energy that's how consciousness is born, two sides of the same coin. All religions are obviously are distortions, if you were to go back thousand years and teach the principles of quantum mechanics to the ancients would they get it? What would they write down? How would it distort throughout centuries, all people have personal interest, how would that affect the thousand year old knowledge, no matter what we see or hear, it is our inculturated mind that has to interpret it and the mind only knows the past and interpretes everything based on past experiences.
It's not just humans. everything is consciousness. where there is life there is consciousness. even the flowers and the trees ..god is consciousness and we are all part of God/the universe/consciousness. .and it can never be destroyed. when you die your consciousness will simply move into the form of reincarnation into anything or anyone. .god is consciousness and so is all life.and We are all part of it. .you could say that we are trapped in a way because there is no such thing as death..In terms of your consciousness disappearing along with your body...

Let me be clear, these are all really nice thoughts and it sounds very appealing and "logic", but there is a problem with all of these claims.
The video starts of wrong to begin with, the speaker says, "Science says" or "Science tells us" etc., but that is not true. What the speaker goes on with is an interpretation of a few of scientific findings. But it is worse than that, the speaker does not tell us which findings he means. It really is just extremely vague and the speaker's own interpretation but it is definitely not what Science tell's us.
Please guys and girls, be critical of everything you hear and make your own research. As appealing as all of this sounds, nothing of this is falsifiable or verifiable. It is neither true nor untrue. It is pure speculation and interpretation of "scientific findings". You can't even be sure if it is an actual interpretation of scientific findings, since none are mentioned.
Please everybody, stay critical, you can believe whatever you want to but don't fall for something because it is the thing you always wanted to hear.
Look for stuff that contradicts what you initially thought to see if it is actually true. In this case, you can't find somethings cotradicting because it is not contradictable.
Educate yourself and don't interpretate too early.

I think this was presented poorly, stating very little, and far too repetitive but - But you when think what quantum mechanics is based on - unified theory. Then is all true to a degree, (what we may call it differs - they say enlightenment, I say God) the fact that light is both a proton particle and light wave and we are same both a wave and particle, that fact we are all entangled with other particles, that information cannot be lost, well, you can't easily argue against that unless you find another way to deal with quantum mechanics. I do wish people who be a bit more on point when it comes to this sort of thing though or at least bring up the math behind conscious like the works of Gödel and later douglas hofstadter
He wants you to do your own research. Find your own information to base your decision on. He's simply giving us an idea, that does make sense. It's hard to explain this kind of shit to people.

You've clearly not done enough psychedelics, but you do make good points. I happen to know a few of the scientific findings he eludes to because I've done a ton of research on this topic. Of course, I'm still a skeptic, but there is merit to a lot of what he says in this video. The speaker probably did a lot of LSD before he went into science. I know he has a doctorate, but I don't remember his name or what field he practices his vocation.
