Dunbar and Big Joe are looking awesome and I love them ❤❤. I have retinopathy so my heart belongs to princess Eleanor. Thank You for keeping her and letting her be as natural to a bison as possible while keeping her safe
I admire your love for these animals, willing to do whatever you have to. I'm Chickasaw and know just how important these animals are to our heritage! ❤🫶🙏
Dunbar looked like he was uncomfortable walking. Was that just because video messes with our perception of things or is he having trouble? Big Joe’s thinking “my food truck showed up”. 😅 Wowza…Brooks went from a toddler into a little girl seems like overnight!! She’s a smart and adorable kid!😮 Dusty & Marissa, I hope you two are proud of yourselves! Cross Timbers Bison has grown from a handful of bison at your parent’s place to what it is today. Two facilities, two large herds, a huge barn/office building, online sales, and more I’m sure that I’ve forgotten. It’s incredible the growth you’ve achieved in such a relatively short amount of time. It has been an incredible ride so far. I can’t wait to see what happens next! Be well and stay safe, Doc✌🏼
Not a single person could ever think that Brooks may have a favorite bison. 😇😆Dunbar is hoping that she will always be in charge of the cubes. It truly is great to have friends with equipment when you have an issue such as this one and I am so glad that you got to borrow it and are now putting it to great use for these bison.
Think I would have deviated from the path and made it farther away from the tree so any erosion wouldn't jeopardize the root system especially with tornados and the need of it for shade. Hard to grow saplings around livestock once they get a taste for them and they aren't as easy to fence out as deer. I've seen how they use every bit of shade on the hot summer days, be a shame to lose any more shade if possible. For some reason ranchers everywhere are like that from my observation. Trees could also be part an integral part of your plan for the plants and soil regeneration. They help stop wind from taking all your top soil for one thing. Plus you have trees that serve more purposes like the pecans. I'd love to be able to have one of those. The area I grew up in used to look much like that and the government started a system where farmers could get all types of trees for free such as trees for a specific purpose such as shelter belt and replant of our native species because generations before, ranchers and crop farmers cleared EVERYTHING..... and then the dirty 30's came. It finally dawned on everyone that if you don't want all of your top soil at your neighbors, you need trees, fences don't stop soil erosion. My mom was huge into it and bought a massive amount of her own to the point where our home quarter had a completely different biosphere than anywhere around us for hundreds of miles! It was always the first thing people commented on when they came for the first time. She could grow fruit trees and all types of different things that was completely unheard of in the area. It really was Shangrala and so so beautiful. With her growing up in a place where there wasn't a tree as far as you could see, she was determined that her children would grow up in a beautiful area with plants, trees, green green grass...all that she didn't!! All these years later that program is still in place I just discovered, pretty awesome I think. Bison seem to be as good snoopervisors as cattle and dogs, hahah
Dunbar is lookin good. Sure miss seein' him. At least he's got his own area with his girls, and there are no more chance meetings with Big Joe. The pond is gonna be so much better. Too bad you didn't get the triangle section done before the rains. Hopefully, you'll be able to get it done before the next rains. God bless.😊❤
Great job on the pond Dusty, now you just need the rain to fill it up, and it’s lovely seeing Dunbar too, and little Brookes feeding him bless her, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
🦬 Dunbar!!! 🤎 I sure miss seeing that big feller, thank you for taking us along. Haha, bison are nosey, they have to be right in the middle of your work 😄. Wow Dusty, you got a lot done with the pond. Take care and God bless..
Hi Dusty, Marissa and Brooke. Great video. Dunbar is a magnificent bison and my favorite. Pond is looking good. Needed to be cleaned out. Hopefully yall will get a good rain. God bless and love yall ❤❤
Dusty, loved this video. The pond will be awesome when it does fill up. You and Daniel must have had the same idea with this super dry summer to renovate those ponds. Except Daniel is making a lake…😅😅😅
Brooks is so sweet and beautiful 😍. I’m a grandma and I love spending time with my grandkids. I have a granddaughter about Brooks age. I love your channel.
DUSTY, super video. I hope that you will be able to get some rain really soon. Fill up those ponds and water your grasses, best of luck with your efforts. 🙏🙏🙏⛈⛈⛈⛈💖💖💖❤❤❤.
I loved watching Brooks feed Dunbar! I think she loves Dunbar as much as you do! It was great hearing Marissa, too. I really enjoy it when the 3 of you are together. I'm looking forward to seeing your ponds all filled up in the Spring! Have a great week! With loads of prayers, love, and gentle hugs for y'all and your critters too. God bless y'all, Dinna Gulyas in Florida. 🥰🙏🙏🙏🦬🌴
Good luck with the ponds!!❤ If you take a magnifying glass you can see the Bison statue I made -- it's of a Bison 🦬 in winter. I used Big Joe as a model.🙂
Hi from CT guys. Brook is really enjoying feeding Dunbar. He's such a handsome fella. The northeast is in drought too. This year it's either feast or famine where rain is concerned. WNC got flooded out. Here in CT we've had hardly any rain since June. Last nite we got about 5 mins. Steady rain and a little dripple off and on for the rest.
It's still a big area to dig out - you almost need a dozer ? The bison seem to be attracted to the earth when it is disturbed ! you did a neat job Dusty .
Hey Dunbar 😊🦬💜 Looking Good! Great job Brooks giving the cubes😊🦬🥰🌸 Catchy music for digging dirt!😊🎶 Bison always so curious at what you're doing 😊🦬💜 Pond will fill up eventually!🌧🌧🌧 Keep on Bison Ranchin!🙏🦬🌸🌧💜
I propoe naming this new body of water "LAKE DUNBAR". It might be nice to leave some high ground in the middle of Lake Dunbar in case you wanted to allow cattails (natural water purifier) or water lillies and water lotus to establish themselves.
Thank you for sharing Dunbar he is greatly missed. That pond rebuild is coming along nicely.
You should get a spreader of some sort and spread what you’re removing on your ground. The soil from ponds are some of the richest you can get.
For sure ! 😊
Or Marissa's flower spots.
It's great for garden spots
Spread it upstream where it came from !
Test it for heavy metals before you spread it.
Thank You Dusty. It was really great to see Ol Dunbar !
Dunbar and Big Joe are looking awesome and I love them ❤❤. I have retinopathy so my heart belongs to princess Eleanor. Thank You for keeping her and letting her be as natural to a bison as possible while keeping her safe
DUNBAR LOOKS LIKE HE'S DOING GREAT. HE SURE IS GETTING BIG.
Hello Marisa, Brookes and Dusty
Dunbar is a good ole boy. His eye has really healed up well.
You make a huge job look easy love watching your daughter feed the bison she is so adorable
Good to see Mike back with you guys.Dunbar is looking great.Thank you Dusty and family.
I admire your love for these animals, willing to do whatever you have to. I'm Chickasaw and know just how important these animals are to our heritage! ❤🫶🙏
I Am PROUD that you are a Chickasaw and I Hope All People Will Appreciate ALL your Native Ways Of Intelligence too❤🎉
Increasing water storage capacity is a blessing, for sure. Nice to see Dunbar's doing good. God bless you folks in your efforts.
I chuckled at how fitting that git-er-done music was to your task!
So did I! 🎵
What a job, Dusty. That big machine is not as easy as your video makes it look.
Finally, to see DUNBAR, just a couple of minutes 🙌
Brooks is a doll
Love how deep the pond is getting. I could sit and watch your videos for hours, ❤️❤️❤️
Dunbar yes
Daniel should hire you to clean out his new pond.
Realy felt for Dunbar when he had eye problem and when Big Joe showed him who was the Boss. Poor Dunbar has been knocked about a few times. ❤❤❤❤❤

Maybe he was apprehensive about a strange human being at the fence?

Hi Dusty. Glad you and Marissa and brooks are safe and healthy. I know you take good care of the bison herd.
Dunbar looks great!!! I ❤ DUNBAR !
Love seeing Dunbar! The pond is looking awesome and a lot of work, but worth it!
Glad I got to see Dunbar. I've missed him. Glad he's doing ok.
Really hoping you get advice from some top-notch Pond people! Initial out lay might be hard but it would save a whole lot of headaches later on!
Dusty love and enjoy your videos. May the lord bless and protect you and your family and the bison.
Major task, well done you😊😊😊😊Brooks is beautiful, just like her mum😊😊😊😊xx

Dusty it takes a week just to get to the water hole with that thing!!!!!! Lolol. Donna northern michigan
I'm very glad you were able to dredge this pond for the bison but oh how I wanted to plant something in that rich bottom sludge!😅
Clay helps hold water
❤Pond is really coming along. Always good to see Dunbar 😊
Wow!!!! What a job digging that out. But it's going to be awesome when it fills up. That soil should be extremely fertile.
Wow Big Joe is a nice looking Bison

So pretty view from the drone. I know y’all and the bison are beginning to feel the cooler air last day or so, esp at night.
It was nice to see Dunbar again.
I bet they like the cooler weather...
Thanks to having good friends.
Got to keep DUNBAR Dusty I MEAN it in case something happens to BIG JOE !!! We all remember what happened with that COLD TIME!!!
Loved seeing Dunbar. You are doing a nice job on that pond. I hope you will provide the hurd with more water durring the summer. ❤
Good job! More rain coming
Good luck with the ponds!!❤

I, absolutely loooove when you do triple speed with the videos and when the bison photo bomb!!!!!
Great video Dusty. Thank you.
Brooks is going to be on Dunbar's Christmas List.😅
Mr Dunbar moving slower in his age LOL❤❤❤❤
Find an old fashioned manure spreader and spread it into you fields
Good job Dusty. Loved the instrumental music you played while watching.
Great to see Dunbar!! But he looks skinny, is he okay? Still recovering from his illness?
Long time, no see Mr. Dunbar
Check on placing a Bentonite base in that pond. That can prevent water from seeping into the ground. Might help if that is a sandy clay, I can`t tell.
Thank you for this video 🎉🎉🎉🎉.
I love watching your channel 😊
Hey Dunbar 😊🦬💜 Looking Good! Great job Brooks giving the cubes😊🦬🥰🌸
Catchy music for digging dirt!😊🎶 Bison always so curious at what you're doing 😊🦬💜
Pond will fill up eventually!🌧🌧🌧
Keep on Bison Ranchin!🙏🦬🌸🌧💜
I would use that dirt for a massive garden in raised beds.
You, Daniel Arms, Brandon Eddy, Dutch, all emptying your ponds.
