There are many things in this world that hurt. Putting your hand on the stove when it’s still hot, slamming your leg in the car door, or arguably one of the most painful things of all-- stepping on a Lego in bare feet, are all gonna put you out of commission and make you a little more cautious as you go about your day. I just said that it is impossible to determine because men don't know what women feel and women don't know what men feel. I think it is stupid to argue which gender experiences more pain. I just get annoyed when girls assume that men overreact when they get kicked in the balls. When I was like 8 years old I got hit in the balls with a soccer ball that was kicked by a 17 year old man. That happened to me like 4 times around that same year but I don't know why it did not hurt me that much as other times.

I wrestled from elementary to Jr High, through high school. The most common injury was always to the groin. I just didn't understand what a joke strap was supposed to do. It surely didn't protect the testies. The other thing I never understood, is why people want to ask you questions when this happens. For a few seconds, most times I could not speak, even if I was able to breathe.
I have watched when a boxer gets hit in the groin. I have never heard of anyone needing 15 minutes to recoup. In my experience. If it takes more than thirty seconds, you probably should consider calling 911.
The worst I have experienced was searing pain for about thirty seconds and then I needed a few seconds for the mental shock to calm down. I'm pretty sure that is why in professional boxing, they give you up to five minutes to recover. Most don't take that long unless they just want to rest.
At any rate. Getting hit in the groin is not a joke and you should never hit someone in the groin on purpose unless you need to defend yourself. And even then, you better make sure you get him pinpoint and hard enough for you to get far away. No man is going to happy with you after that level of pain.
I'm a girl and I would NEVER EVER hit someone there or EVER find it funny. I don't understand why some ppl do tho.

I used to work at the Murray bicycle/lawnmower plant in Lawrenceburg, TN. I was in the warehouse where we stored the tires and assembled the wheels for bicycles working one night. We had these large mobile racks that we would stack full of wheels for the production line the next day. A little 16 inch wheel fell off the top rack (about 5.5 feet high) hit the floor and bounced up for a direct hit in the groin. I almost fainted, nearly puked, got dizzy, started sweating, could barely walk but had to go sit down for a few minutes. It still hurts 30 years later when I think about it!
