About The Pottery Piazza:
We are a Paint Your Own Pottery Studio located at 17 Farmington Ave. in Plainville, CT. We are a place where people of all ages can gather together and paint their own functional pottery pieces in a creative environment. Painting pottery is a great way to spend quality time with friends and family and also makes the perfect personalized gift for just about any occasion. We have plates, bowls, mugs, figurines, banks, home decor, pet pottery and more! No appointment needed, walk-ins are always welcome so please stop by and paint anytime!
We have a new online website where you can pick up pottery and glazes to go and paint in the comfort of your own home! All the pottery, glazes and supplies can be found on our website at PotteryPiazza.com under the SHOP Tab. You can order online and we will delivery locally or you can select curbside pick up. After you are done painting, just return it to the studio to have it glazed and fired in a kiln and it becomes a beautiful and functional work of art! You can also stop into the studio and paint with us if you'd like and we can guide you!
We also offer Wheel Throwing, Mosaics, Custom Painted Pottery and we host Parties and Group Outings! Plan your next get together and make it a creative one!

I've done this for several years. 😀 Please use a clean stir stick for each color so you don't contaminate the colors. Then pour the colors in layers into a plastic yogurt cup. Then pour onto your plate and keep moving into the pattern. For a stronger marble pattern drag the cup and pour onto plate as plate is propped up.
