i have a 2 day weekend contract with a place across the country. Sat and sunday work only. Should I get paid for travel time and travel expenses reimbursed?
That's an interesting contract. Are you intending on traveling back and forth? You would definitely have to request that in your contract, but I would say it's unlikely they would do that unless they are desperate.
@@Katherine_Ann just a one time coverage. In the future maybe once a month travel to the site for 1 day of work. From California to Missouri.

Do you discuss the terms of the contract with the travel agency OR the facility you will be contracted with?
The travel agency!
working terms are discussed with the facility. the hospital has to approve time off, not the travel agency. The facility manger you speak with is the one who insures your shift request and time off and another facility specifics. The travel agency just makes sure it's in the contract. With the travel agency you discuss reimbursements and pay.
