Awesome job! Love the project.
For cleaning up UHMW and other plastics after cutting, try using the back side of the utility knife. Doesn’t dig in like the sharp side.
Fantastique!!! Bravo les gars!
Amazing!!!
I will wait for the next episode.
Man I miss your videos, very nice to see you back
Thanks! 🔥
Hey great looking plans, seems to be a combo of tire hammer/ dupont and a Japanese strap hammer frame. One question I'd raise is whether it needs adjustable cross bracing on the frame for support and. Really good job though, I will probably purchase the plans and have a go at it
Yes exactly! It's a mix between a japanese A frame style hammer and a tire hammer ! For your cross bracing question now, I don't think it's necessary because of the horizontal support between the members of the structure should be plenty enough. But surely it wouldn't be a bad design idea ! And have fun building one !
Absolutely awesome. Congrats.can’t wait to see more videos soon on this build. Hopefully you guys get great use out of it for many years to come. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work. Forge On. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
Thank you ! It's always awesome to be supported like that !
@@KOPOprojects your very welcome.
great job!! is that from clay spencer design? i bought his plans but havent attempted to build . Last winter i built a 29 ton press 1 day i will attempt this build i dont have a mill or lathe though cheers from CT , Mark 😀👍✌✌
The tire design is inspired by his design but the rest is all my design ! Good luck with your build !
A true metal craftsman. Uses electrical tape on his finger! 😊
when you make yours just make sure you use turdy inches, i used thirty and screwed it up.
mate what brand of step drill you used,, looks tough..💪
Hahahah it's actually a really cheap brand but it came out really well !
My Forge only has 120 volt 20 Amp do you have a down size Power Hammer Build plan?
Your video are inspiring 🙌 thanks
You can run the motor with 120v and 20 amp ! I'm actually runing mine on 120 v. But unfortunately we do not have a smaller version.
You probably don't want anything lighter. Kives need 75lbs. so this will be very limited. I would think 3/8inch would be the farthest you would push 50lbs. If your building go for125 to 150lbs. You will do so much more. You most likely don't want to replace it in a year.
Would you be able to share the power/electric consumption of this machine?
Wattage, etc
I use a 2hp motor wich is about 1500 w to make a round number but I bet the motor is using less than that when not under load so my answer would be an intermitent 1500 Watt
@@KOPOprojects thank you for the response, We are planning to put-up a production facility for blacksmiths here in PH. Power Hammers such as this would be a great help for the local blacksmith who do not have their own workshops
Hi sir, may I ask for the dimensions of this machine
Just need helps with the spring.
How can I help you ?
@@KOPOprojects found a reference and ordered a motor cycle spring last night. Where did you get your spring from and what where the dimensions.
I bought mine on mc master carr I believe it's a 11 inch long by 2.9 inch in diameter!
@@KOPOprojects any chance you have a model number/ part number?
Depending on your hammer design and the weight of your ram you will probably have different needs but mine is the number 96485K197on mc master carr if this can help you ! Have a nice build !
Welcome back man
Thank you! 💪
Awesome build! Before I start, any idea of the ball park cost in parts and supplies I might need to get before I buy your plans from Etsy? Thanks so much!
Oh, so sorry. You mentioned it in the additional comments. Thanks!
Hahaha yeah well it's arround 2000$ ! Have fun building !
Roughly, what are the material costs?
It's hard to say with the cost of steel always moving but mine cost me about 2000$ tu build with all brand new material about a year ago if this help you!
@@KOPOprojects thank you
Is that diy?
It is ! It's a complicated one but the plans are made to be simple to understand and to make !
Send to diagram please
Charging for plans that are not yours. Interesting.
