    🙋🏼 ABOUT ME: Hi guys! My name is Aly or Alyona. I was born in Russia. I'm a musician. And I love art, makeup, fashion, style and beautiful environments. I love playing with makeup and fashion, but at the same time, I’m quite a minimalistic person. I don't like the idea of being fixated on the body too much. I have an alternative and unconventional viewpoint on beauty, the body types and face shapes. I love helping other girls find their "it" and finally discover their beauty and boost their confindence.
    I have several series on my channel that you might be interested in such as: Body Types, Contouring, Makeup History and Makeup Transformations. Also some random beauty hacks about skin care, hair, nails and beauty in general.

      I would love to! But here's the thing. I can only upload once a week. And there are 13 bodytypes. that means some girls will have to wait 13 weeks until they get to the video which would be interesting for them to watch. So That's a tricky thing. I will think what I can do. Maybe film them all and then edit them all and then upload in between the week..

    That ending was beautiful :) i think every girl needs to be reminded this and taught it at a young age. Im a 15 year old soft classic, and i used to get picked on for being flat, and it really bothered me and made me feel hideous. But i started watching your videos about a year ago and started to learn what my body type was and how i could make it shine. Now i feel more beautiful than ever and i don’t let those comments get to me anymore. :)

      Yes. I'm so tired of the old 'everyone needs to look like an hourglass with an oval face'. I'm Dramatic Classic and I think that's so cool, just like every other body type. We don't need to look 'biologically mate-able' to look beautiful :)

      Same! I used to feel like my body was not normal because I didn’t have hips but I realized that people have surgery, photoshop or it’s just different body shapes. Videos like these really did help me because I felt like I was the odd one out at quite a young age. It feels nice to know your body is normal and there are people out there that have bodies like yours.

And though her costumes on Mad Men are too retro, seeing them gives me inspiration as I am now looking to level up my look with specifics about how to dress my body type.

      They really aren't, but honestly it's low-key a good thing cause there's a lot of misinformation about Dramatics in general. A big one about how only tall and lean women are Dramatics. If you follow David Kibbe on social media, you'll see that he is pretty adamant about short women being able to be any of his Image ID and that only tall women get their options limited by height. He has put several women under 5'5 as a Soft Dramatic, and seeing Aly so casually say, "Kim K couldn't have been Dramatic cause she's not tall" only makes it seem that Aly's understanding of Yin and Yang are quite biased and that she's taking Kibbe's old quiz very seriously, when Kibbe himself has denounced it's validity and it's like a big rule in his groups to not let that influence you.

  • @JuliaKirsty
    @JuliaKirsty 6 лет назад +14

    I don't know why but the things you said at the end made me think of comic characters and how they are designed. A comic character usually has a lot of specific features that all go hand in hand and their appearance even portraits this character's essence and that reminds me of Kibbe's system. I think this system is great for people who want to get closer to themselves instead of trying to look a certain way. Of course, someone who is not interested in any of this will not feel the need to try it out. But I personally think that especially when you struggle with accepting your own body and your own beauty, this can really help. Because you can learn to understand that not all clothes can look great on you. What looks lush on someone can look odd and misplaced on someone else. That's totally okay. Nobody on this planet suits every piece of clothing. But it's really interesting how you can experiment with different styles and see what it does to your appearance.

    Wow...that is so interesting. I always knew there was something off about the way KK looked and moved and you nailed it. It's not that I'm against her or anything, but she was so adorable with the way she looked. I've always been curvy (no matter how skinny I was) and always kind of wanted that natural look because I love to dress in loose casual clothing, but something's always off if I don't put myself more together and wear makeup (even though it's natural I need it). You know...I saw her on a RUclips channel and she looks totally put together with hardly any makeup on, and I look washed out and sick if I wear nothing. I wish she had accepted the way she was and only had SOME things done. And like the others commenting...I would love to know about movements and gestures. Thanks again for this.

    Can you make a video about how/why gamines are tomboyish? Because in my experience most gamines are also dainty, which makes them apear more girly/feminine. I understant that they dont have the biggest bums or boobs, but their demeanor/energy is more delicate than most body types. Thanks and good video as always 👍🏻

      It helps if you frame it like its original French origin, its like a small teenage boy who hasn't reached puberty, but not masculine or butch, not even quite tomboy - and its not exactly androgynous either.. There's not an easy english equivelent. Twiggy is a great example. She's a woman, but you don't really think of her as "womanly" or natural, not earth mother.

    I enjoy when you talk about body types and go in depth in them and talk about people and their body type to help understand and figure out body types. The thing is is I can usually tell a person's body type is, but I still can't figure out mine. So I appreciate when you explain about bone structure like in this one when you got up a bit and showed your waist and was explaining hips, waists, and bones on your body type and how they look different on others

It reminds me of how people say I got blessed with my hair, but I HATED my hair for most of my life to the point of pulling chunks of it off so that it wouldn't have so much volume and frizz. Everything changed when I embraced it even though it wasn't the hair that I wanted. It was a slooooww process but I am so glad I did. My hair is my favorite thing about myself.

      No, because body types are determined by the flesh/muscle (not fat) and the bone structure you have. That doesn't change when we put on or lose weight. She has clarified this before =) However, I guess it can be more difficult to recognise them if we're overweight, as seeing the bone structure is harder when we have more weight on.

    • @FannysLoA
      @FannysLoA 6 лет назад

      Same here!
      The real problem for me is "did weight loss make me Dramatic? " (loss of some boobs but gain of waist).
      "Am I a Soft Dramatic because of curves? But I look better if I follow the style advice on Flamboyant Natural, otherwise I look too matronly".
      And so it goes back and forth with every new thing I learn about this. One thing cancels out the other.
      The only thing I'm sure of is that I am too tall for the rest of the body types.
      So D, SD or FN it is.

    Her waist wasn't straight before, she was already curvy. The surgery only enhanced that. She was like a 32D a with 38 inch hips and her waist was around 25 inches if i remember correctly, so she didn't have narrow hips or wide shoulders. She was between hourglass and pear shape.

    • @Ema-fm5zy
      @Ema-fm5zy 6 лет назад

      don’t quoteme if that is straight to you then you should get your eyes checked.
      Her waist to hip ratio is 0.68 in this picture:
      www.gossiprocks.com/forum/weight/104277-i-feel-great-confident-kim-kardashian-cavorts-around-bikini-after-overhauling.html
      You can't have 25 inch waist, 37 inch hips and have a straight waist . Her shoulders look wide because she has a narrow head she is short and her legs aren't thick. 32 band size is small.... that's how wide is the torso of a Victoaria's secret model.
