Nice one again Ian, that sand gets everywhere. What ever you use to clean up does do a good job, say hi to Jenny from us both and as always be lucky.

Thanks Clive, I was thinking where's all this sand coming from? Duh we live in the desert. 😂

I like to use Maguire's natural shine interior protector on all the black plastics & the seat-really makes the black pop and isn't too shiny. Plus again I'd recommend getting a few sets of the mirrors like I use on the ones I refurbish. They add a touch of style and help the rider to see behind them and to back up if unable to turn around.

Thanks for watching Richard, already ahead of you on that one, we offer a plethora of accessories but most of the time customers don't want them.

I buy generic chargers for the pre-owned units that I work with. I get the 5amp ones with the BLUE collar around the XLR plug end. in this case I upgrade the charge port fuse to 10amp. no troubles with over 36 in service.

Hey Richard, we too buy generic for replacement rather than factory units due to the price of the factory ones, but I wouldn't recommend a 5A charger for 12ah or 18ah batteries or increasing the fuse amp rating either. I stick to the amp ratings recommended by the manufactures for legal reasons.

I have found that the darn 18amp batteries are quite troublesome. IMHO they sit on shelves way too long because they are just not used as much as the 12amp ones. (I used to keep 4 of each size battery on my shelf but don't keep the 18s anymore-just order them on an as needed basis) I have also TRIED the 20 & 22amp ones and again, IMHO are WORSE.

We had a problem when we first started this business years ago trying to find a good battery supplier. We tried everything from EBay to Amazon and even a supplier in Texas, most of the one ordered online came damaged from shipping and the supplier we had to order a minimum quantity which only benefits the supplier due to our lowish turnaround. We've since found two local distributors with large turnover here in Las Vegas where we can order and pick up same day. With them being local we have no problem with warranty returns as we don't have to ship anything back if there's any problems.

@@lasvegasscooterslifts If you get a bad battery(s) online, you may have too get it load tested and return test report with battery, you pay return shipping cost and seller decides if you are due a refund. If you have an honest local battery supplier, buy there even if it cost a little more, less hassle and could be cheaper overall.
