Thanks 🙏 yeah man! I need to get up your way and play some music/fish. I need to find somewhere to play a show that would not mind a bunch of fishermen packing the place.
I was out doing the same thing on St. Patrick’s day too. The Spanish were thick, fish jumping everywhere. Glass minnows all over, even in the mouths of the Spanish my clients caught. My next two videos will be from that one trip. So much fun!
Just moved to st Augustine from south Florida. Fished a lot down south and was looking for a fishing channel around here for how the fishing is done up here, solid channel man
8 oz is a lot…hmm I know Penn Spinfisher makes a heavy rod like that. That’s really heavy though. You sure you need all that weight for the surf? A 5oz Sputnik weight is equal to an 8oz pyramid weight. Check with Avid Angler or Fishbites trading post
I’d lower the weight to 2-3oz and try it on a Penn Spinfisher rod, Over the bar 10ft, or Nina tackle has a good one. I’d use my over the bar rod for this. Floridasurftackle.com or just go into any rod shop and ask them what they suggest. I don’t usually fish heavier than a 3oz when throwing live pin fish.

@@staugustinesandmanfishing Juana's Pagodas has live music most weekends. I'd hit them up about booking dates.
What a neat video. So much fun for you all. Water looked perfect and the weather. Looking forward to more days of surf fishing videos from you.
Take note of the time of year for planning your next visit! Thanks for watching.
Maybe have to extend it a bit. Ha

Thanks! Welcome to the area. Local tackle shops are a big help too
Its gonna be soggy on the 22nd. Great video.
The water looks amazing. Pretty rare around here.
Right!? I was in shock. I thought it looked great for this type of fishing.
Hi Mike, l'm looking for a 10 foot surf spinning rod that I could cast an 8oz bait with. Can you recommend a rod and place I could purchase it?
Thanks

@@staugustinesandmanfishing Hi Mike, I thinking a 5oz sputnik and a live pinfish would equal 8oz. Any thoughts?

Sea turtles make for great prison food. Every Karen will feel like a once- in-a- lifetime patriot for reporting you.
