I had a prototype figure on my desk for a month constantly fidgeting around with it and taking parts off and replacing them to try new parts or test scaling. It held up really well. Hello! I want to buy a 3d printer for my son whose action figures joints keep breaking, what would you recommend? For filament what do you use?? Thank you! Good work!!
I am printing with a resin printer using resione M58 + Resione TH72 resins for my print. However, if you want figures that do not break I would not recommend 3D Printing yet. 3D Printed figures are not as stong as injection molded action figures.
Does the 3D printer print different colors or did u just paint some of the parts? Because if I’m able to use more than one color on a 3D printer it would be so much easier than painting them
All the parts you see here are manually painted. The 3D printer can only print the color of the resin. There are some very expensive printers that can do colors.

The parts have been holding up without issues. The joints are still tight and functional. I did have to add just a tiny bit of kiki joint fix for the thigh ball joints but everthing else works perfectly.
@@sebastianfradelos527 Yes that is correct 85% resione m58 and 15% sirayatech tenacious for all the parts. It gives the parts a bit more flex when heated which prevents breakage while snapping on and off.
I haven't had any paint rub on my figure but sanding down would definitely help. If you have your 3d printer exposure setting dialed in there should be minimum rubbing.
It could but the joints would be slightly complicated for the smaller scale. Please check my instagram, I make figures that are smaller in scale dedicated to be 4 inches.
I have tried it to a degree. The resin becomes softer but not by much. However, adding more flexible resin makes it lose the property to not grind when resin is touching against other resin. The cons outweigh the positives.
I definitely could but he is not on the current roadmap of things I want to work on. My next project is a buck body and I will also spend some time investigating moulding and casting of these figures.

What printer do you use? Im wanting to start 3d printing
For this print I used the elegoo mars 2 pro. Currently I am using the uniformation GKTWO
Bro can you please tell me what cad are you using? I have so many ideas that aren’t possible in tinkercad frick
Blender.. It is such a versatile app.
@@AzrachToys thanks!!
You still selling these files man? I am looking for toy files like this. Action figures specifically.
Please DM me on Instagram :)
buying a 3d printer is expensive but its a way cheaper solution when if ur an action figure geek (you burn lots of money very fast purchasing them)
Agreed. Resin printers are costly upfront but nowadays very affordable. And once you get the printers sky is the limit in terms of what you can make.

Awesome man!
How tall is this figure?
This figure is around 6.5 inches in height. Very similar to a mafex figure.
What program did you use if I may ask you?
I use blender for all of my 3D work.
@@AzrachToys Oh really? Can you port STL files directly to it? Sorry I am trying to find out little tricks because I don't have a 3d printer yet but want to get one and I have a lot of interest in what you're doing and how you're doing it.
Which software did you sculpt this in?
I used blender for the entire process of making this action figure.
Was just wondering how this figure is holding up over time? Did you need to tighten the joints at all? I’ve ordered and elegoo 3 and am looking to make action figures and want to know if the resin combo is working well for joints. Thank you :)!
and was the 85% resione and 15% tenacious used for every part in the figure? or did different parts use different resin concentrations
It gives the parts a bit more flex when heated which prevents breakage while snapping on and off.
any suggestions to avoid paint rub on the joints
I haven't had any paint rub on my figure but sanding down would definitely help. If you have your 3d printer exposure setting dialed in there should be minimum rubbing.
Can you use just regular plastic instead of resin
Do you mean using abs on a fdm printer? I think that should work. I have not tried it yet.
Could stuff like this be viable for 3.75 to 4 inch scale?
It could but the joints would be slightly complicated for the smaller scale. Please check my instagram, I make figures that are smaller in scale dedicated to be 4 inches.
can you make figures from chracters made in blender?
Yes adding articulation to existing models is possible.
What kind of plastic did you use?
I used 3D printing resin for this figure.
What will happen if you add even more flexible resin?
I have tried it to a degree. The resin becomes softer but not by much. However, adding more flexible resin makes it lose the property to not grind when resin is touching against other resin. The cons outweigh the positives.
@@AzrachToys thank you for your answer I hope I try it myself soon.
is there a tutorial on how to make the individual parts in blender?
No not at the moment.
@@AzrachToys did you learn on your own or used the action figures that you have for refrence?
@@blackghostajin8469 I learned on my own but took actual physical figures for reference.
How did you get it to print certain parts different colors ?
The parts were painted later. Everything was printed in Grey
Can you make a comicbook accurate Thanos.
I definitely could but he is not on the current roadmap of things I want to work on. My next project is a buck body and I will also spend some time investigating moulding and casting of these figures.
The joins has been made with TPU??
No everything is made in resin from resione.
@@AzrachToys ooh i see, thanks dude
