Haven't finished the video yet, but learning the spots treasure can drop is really good. 4 or so runs in, and you've had treasure on your screen without noticing it so many times. If you knew the spots, your eyes would have gone right to them.

X, that sound you heard at 7:30 ish is the sound of clank being blocked. When you pick up an artifact you generate 3 clank, but you blocked all of them which is why the sound played so much.
Most of the Hermits would have saved themselves a ton of trouble if they'd have taken five minutes to actually read the books in the sound testing room.
Helpful hint: watch tango tek’s “How to Play Decked Out 2”! It explains mostly everything that you are confused about. When you hear “sneak”, that’s your card called sneak being played. It blocks clank (the shriekers) a certain number of times. For some reason it doesn’t always block your clank which is weird but it is supposed to. Another thing is I would turn your headset volume up and wear over the ear headphones. Watching your videos I can easily differentiate between an ambient warden sound and a ravager and also it is easy to tell when a ravager is agro (galloping sounds). Hope this helps!
The clank is getting blocked, it just takes the system a while to register it. You'll hear the shrieker and then after a couple of seconds the clank block sound will play + a decrement on the map counter.
I'm sure he did. The DO2 video from Tango is quite a bit less informative than the DO1 video. Probably for gameplay reasons Tango just isn't giving out as much information in it. He expects the Hermits to learn by playing the game.
Thank you for posting your runs. I can’t get enough of all of the Hermits playing Decked Out! No, I don’t have a problem. Why do you ask? 😂 Unless I’m mistaken, Ethereal cards aren’t given back to you if they’re played. If they say “permanent,” that means that they’ll be active from the beginning, and for the entire run, instead of for just a duration after being played. The dings are treasure, and the doots are embers. Good luck on Phase 3! 😊
And the 3 dings in a row aren't treasure -- it's clank being blocked. This is something he'd know if he went to the sound check room and read the books.
@@diggoran weird how u made such an assumption like that. Xisuma spent so much time in the tutorial room. He's a bit tense so its understandable if he'd forget the sounds.
@@ender0998 I know he went, but he’s just being his usual derp and not really paying attention. He needs to do more than just look at the words, he has to understand them and commit them to memory. It’s like how in this video he misread the sign as “Sneak the key” instead of “Seek the key”, and even though he didn’t understand what it meant, he didn’t go back and read it again. He just accepted not understanding and moved on to actually attempting to sneak on top of the key, asking if there’s some kind of invisible “sneak detector” that, as a redstone expert, he should already know doesn’t exist. 2 seconds to read the sign again but more carefully would have saved him so much confusion and would have prepared him better to actually use the information he read. Same for the sound test room.
Fun Fact: the upper floor of the crypt is actually completely blocked off to ravagers. The one in there can't get out, and none of the others outside can get in, due to carpets and low celiings in key entrance/exit spots, effectively blocking their large hitboxes while keeping an open appearance. This makes those carpet areas a fairly reliable spot to get away from them, provided there isn't another one waiting for you on the other side as well 😱 no one likes a double decker ravager sandwich! 💀
Also, really hoping for you or one of the Hermits to check that painting in the room where you picked up your artifact in run 22, maybe it's too obvious for a secret but still it's killing me to know!
@@darkskull1-132 thats just another way to get to the room with the staircases, tango implemented it because people couldnt get by ravagers at the top of the stairs
Grabbing your artifact in the second run you asked about the sounds. I have the answer and it isn't treasure or frost embers. Getting an artifact generated 3 clank immediately, you had clank block lined up from your moment of clarity, and that tone is the "tiptoe" sound indicating you blocked each of the 3 clank generated by the artifact.
Thanks for uploading and it is not hard to compare other hermits runs. Thankfully, I agree with the revisions required for maxing the amount of treasure dropped.
I love this! Im facepalming so much❤ We are so spoiled seeing all the other hermits runs we know where all the spots are, in time you will know them too❤
It's good to have a route that incorporates all level 1 treasure spots and getting berries. Going on the right you pass the first canpifire with berries continue there's the big room with continue to the fork left is a treasure spot continue left to enter the big room right there is a treasure spot then the right ice path the first berry next to the water there's treasure spot too. Keep going down the ice the first fork left is treasure then left again. Berry bush with treasure spot next to it. Then last ice room with the little area you can fall into the berry bush to the left treasure spot on the right and it can fall down. Then enter the crypt if open. Behind the kneeling man. In the big room in front of left entrance to level 2, far corner room first room by stairs left and right side. Middle of Left corridor. Lava room berries and treasure. Downstairs there are two berry bushes and two treasure spots in both far corners so check both. The depth charge side is not the best place to get treasure I think but has some good spots if they're easy they should be checked. On the snow pile behind the wooden bridge on both side of the stalactite pool area there are two berries there and a bush under the wooden bridge. There's a dead end room in the snow if you hug right when you enter the tnt room but it's unsafe with ravages nearby. The iron trap doors are a good spot to pass in the way out. Hope this helps I like the treasure strategy
From your run 19, it seems like u don’t fully memorise level 1 map yet (maybe?) cuz after u got ur key, u went down in the red room instead of up, to drop the key.. and though u got a lot of crowns there, that extra time might have caused more hazard which limit ur way to the room.. a bit unlucky but great run.. u r making good progress 👍🏽

The pure joy (and terror)in your voice 😂 Not the best player I've seen but also not the worst. Don't let the green eye monster get you 😲

Seeing all your runs brings me joy. You'll do better phase 3!!!
44:44 👌 👌 👌 👌 deserves a thumbs up
@9:39 the hair on the back of my neck went up …….. good move X 🎉
3:00 Hilariously terrifying moment when X realized he is doomed!
“Don’t look back” *looks back*🤦🏾♂️🤣

First run was just comedic timing lol
defo should run medium and have 50% chance lvl 1 , rather than waste a shard to only get an ethereal card next phase :(
Lol, love run 17. The butt-clencher :D
26:15 I jumped out of my chair...
The thumbnail really threw me lol I had to re-read it so many times lol

26:16 cacked myself XD
X casually referencing Papa Franku
You must buy treasure because if you have a level 2 artifact and can get a key if you use all treasure and have no key the game is over.
I haven't seen a 6 yet from other people as well. Maybe it's new?
Xisuma decked out runs = hype
U don't have trouble with hazard it's that whenever u get ur artifact hazard goes to max
Xisuma is blind or what? Treasures everywhere but in his line of sight 😅
The depth of disappointment in Run15, I saw the Raveger and somehow Xisuma didn't
hell yes
Xisuma your runs are really entertaining, and I've been loving your videos, but... you really are bad at decked out hahah
second phase and you dont know about hazard doors??? and the key is to jump to the key.. literally but not without jump boost ;)
🎉🎉🎉
37:50 I mean… is the guy blind? 😂
lol yeah his situational awareness is not great
12 phase
and
2 runs
💀
Is he trying to be cute 😂
"Sneak the key" XD
Only time can tell that either Xisuma or hypnotized can finish the hard mode run
It's quite surprising how bad he is actually 🤣. I guess you can't be good at everything
For sure, X isn't the very best Decked Out player just like how you're not the most likable person. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses.
