The thing about Lies of P for me was that I thought since the reveal it is another FromSoftware game.. it wasnt until Bozo69 started playing and saying how much can it look like another game until it becomes theft.. aaand HOOLY.. you mean its not a FromSoft game?? Nah, they shouldn't sue. Just like how Medal of Honor never sued Call of Duty. This game is in no way a violation of copyright laws, and it "stole" nothing. Your post just makes it obvious that you're too bad at souls-like games to tell the differences.
Fromsoft has been the gold standard for this genre forever, every other studio was nowhere near fromsofts level of polish and often failed to come anywhere close to their level of quality. The fact that you saw it and thought it was a fromsoft game doesn't mean that they should be sued it means they should be praised for achieving the same level of quality as a fromsoft game.
Watching Quon struggle with a fat clown over multiple days really made the stream come full circle.

Imo more games should try to take the souls formula and improve upon it like Lies of P tried to. It's not a popular genre and I want more good games.
