The combo I used the most in the game would be the tesla coil head, and the booster glaive handle. Not only does it look cool together, matching the same aesthetic, but it carried me all the way to museum part (forgot the name of the place)

Love the exploding pickaxe handle and black steel cutter blade. The stamina reducing art and spamming the uncharged heavy attack does so much. And then after you blow your stamina, you can keep hitting with the storm slash.

One of my favorite weapons was electric circular saw blade head, and a technique cranked military shovel handle. I was trying to recreate the whirligig saw from Bloodborne. Just turn on the saw extend the handle and enjoy!

Great video! My personal fav combination is the cursed knights halberd handle and the dancer's curved sword blade. It has excellent range and moveset as well as a very satisfying fable combo with the handle parry and the blade followup.
i just put the pistol rock drill blade on the wintry rapier handle and i think i'm in love. both FA only cost one slot, which is nice. it's an absolute crit machine too, uncharged heavy attack followed by a charged heavy makes staggering easy peasy
The combos I’ve used most are the live puppet axe head and shovel handle, and the bone cutting saw head with the bramble sword handle on a motivity build. Their stability isn’t that high so they’re pretty low durability compared to a lot of other weapons, but they deal so much sustained damage that it never becomes a problem. The axe-shovel combo has insane reach that deals full damage along the pole which makes out spacing enemies incredibly easy, and the wide arcs of the saw-bramble give amazing crowd control as well as having a really effective opening advance with the charged heavy. I’ve tried a lot of builds, but these are my comfort weapons.
i've used the bonecutting saw blade with bramble before and that thing is fire and as i was working on the new EP along with you 3 more ppl commented about puppet axe + shovel handle so i was like okay and that thing hits like tank , freaking loving that combo , i just can't wait to get the video done . This was a fun and entertaining video to watch, and damn you’re a good player. It takes me a bit to get used to a weird weapon combo and here you are doing a little bit of testing on the dummies and then taking on bosses with them.

For a technique build, I used spear of honor blade + city spear handle. It got me through the second half of the game. The pokes prevent you from bouncing off walls, it staggers the small enemies, the range of the charged heavies might compete with the booster glaive and its just an all around easy weapon to use with the fable arts and the moveset.

my goto in my second playthrough was the -Military Shovel blade with City Spear Handle-. compared to military shovel on its own, this combo is already long ranged, and the heavy attack is a BEAST, because its quick and fast, and when u just wanna dish out dps, fable art handle for damage boost, and then shovel art spin to win
My favorite combo is the acidic crystal spear blade with the city longspear handle adjusted to scale mainly with the Advance stat. I was able to beat Laxasia for the first by abusing the heavy charged attack and the buffs of the fable arts

This might be a strange but really powerfull one unlike you'd immagine. Try the greatsword of fate blade with the clock sword handle it has a really good moveset and speed with good damage and a good fable art on the blade (the handle one is just for the meme) hope you'll like it if you'll ever try it
yoo man I actually tried this combo in EP 03 , 9:30 ya the speed and the moveset is really sick but however i only tried it in test range i didn't do much boss fighting with it , also i have to do some tests on that handle fable art too , so I'll give it a shot and let u know for sure thanks man . take care love u man o7
Well I'd like to suggest two more combination with the great Sword Blade (hopefully that you haven't used already 😂😂😂) with Firefighter's axe handle and with the esplosive pickaxe handle and just so you have some more choice I suggest the head of the pickaxe with the military shovel handle and the acid curved Blade Blade with the curved Sword of the dancer handle. If you haven't used any of this combination already Hope you'll like It. Great video btw😁😁😁

Also, I learned through my NG+ time, you basically never want to remove a scaling off of a weapon, a D motivity and B tech is gonna be better than A technique 99% of the time The weapon at 23:15 is my main, its absolutely perfect

You gotta try the spear of honor handle with either live puppet axe or mjolnir superrrrr op heavy attack and can strike from long distances with a running charged attack that covers so much ground and inflicts crazy damage and the fable art is amazing i took the blade off but you can really put any blade on there honestly best weapon I've used in game so far super satisfying

I don't remember seeing it in any of your videos, but one of my favorites is the tyrant dagger blade with the winter rapier handle. No all the effective against groups and has low stagger, but it's absurdly fast, has guard parry, and I believe it's possible to get near 100% crit rate, make sure you bring the crit damage amulet. I focus on being more evasive often dodging with it more than other weapons while sneaking in a guard parry when I see an opportunity.

Puppet axe and bramble handle has become my go-to. I just can't find anything better. It's stupid strong, and fast enough that you can stop mid-combo and parry. Plus, that charged R2 comes out super fast, and launches you a mile forward. You can basically beat the game by spamming it. Some other weapons are fun, but that one gets brought out the second I start to struggle

And for the DLC part : really really HYPED about it , I had a gut feeling it would be released by this year but now I think it will not ,which is a good part as they are taking time to cook it well. As they mentioned in their letter how difficult it is to stick to the basics and core. Even tho they might experiment with new stuff I hope they put more effort on the lore and keep the game linear with different bosses and all . Then in Lies of P 2 they might go for open world stuff ,for the DLC It Can be just a lighthouse area with ships and dungeon caves too , let's see . Thanks for stopping by man o7

I wanted to ask about your thoughts because I know you're a dedicated fan just as much as the community (and myself) and I believe that the LoP DLC will be amazing and I also have a couple of hopes. I really hope that when they add the DLC they also add/fix a couple of things with the base game. For example, I'd love to be able to fight defeated bosses without having to play the whole game again! Maybe a boss fight game mode or something? Because many bosses in the game are difficult yet fun and I'd love to be able to play against them for fun! Also I'd hope for a small tweak on the distance you have to run from the spawn to the boss room (imagine Brotherhood 1/2 fights, Romeo, Champion Victor, Door guardian, Woman in white etc.) these quality of life changes would make the game significantly better because it's less time wasted running and more fighting. The best spawns are definitely for the best fights (Laxasia and Nameless puppet). They had no delay between fighting and going spawning in. This made the boss fights incredibly fun and less of a chore regardless of whether or not you lost because it was quick to start again. You could argue it's a "souls" experience but the game clearly wants to be more casual since they removed and included more beginner level stuff such as: No weapon requirements (such as level/build), Skins not affecting stats (which means you can use ANY skin without a downside), rally mechanic for trying to parry (rewarding failure), leaving souls at the front of the boss fight (allowing you to upgrade yourself after losing a boss fight), re-spec for different builds (using the statue and Gold coin fruit), the list goes on and on. Lies of P is a souls-like. But it's also remodeling to become consumer friendly regardless of who plays. That is why it is ALMOST perfect. I would love a couple of quality of life changes to allow the player to experience the game more rather than copying a specific formula that makes gamers rip out their hair and smash their controllers (I've heard stories). So yeah that's my thoughts on a possible update!

@electrocrane yehh the main sell for this weapon though is the stagger. With the wrench head the heavy charged is just fast enough that you can hit most boss openings
I went with a motivity build, and for a while I followed Fextralife's Stormsteel Templar build, but found the sword too slow for my liking, especially when I ran into Laxasia. That's when I decided to combine a couple weapons together which actually tore her ass a new one: For her first phase, I went with Acidic Crystal Spear Blade + Pistol Rock Drill Handle. For her second phase, I went with Salamander Dagger Blade + Mjolnir handle. Both handles had motivity cranks, which gave them an A rank in Motivity. They're both pretty fast for motivity weapons.
@@electrocrane Legit, though, the acid crystal/drill handle combo shreds through her first phase in seconds, especially if you have a specter with you.
I'm not sure if this combo has been used, but I wanna see the combo I call the Puppet Butchering Knife. The Live Puppet Axe Head with the Master Chief Handle.

I've come to realize I've only played half of this game. I've made it to the end but I haven't used all the mechanics. I never use fable arts or legion arm and never really played around with weapon combinations.

I legit just tried the Acidic Great Curved Sword + Master Chef's handle on a whim and it does decent ADV and TEC damage. I had used Puppet Sabre Blade + Bramble Curved Sword handle with an additional Motivity Crank ever since first playing the game (I'm on run 7 now lol) with a Cricket/Balance build. Hope you get to try these out if you haven't already! :D (As an additional bonus, I wanna see how you feel about Blind Man's Double Headed Spear Blade + Motiv-Cranked Bramble Handle. It does ok damage at +2 upgrade, but I would like to see the +10 version of the blade if you have it, to see if the experiment is worth continuing. I'm just slapping random shit together now bc I'm bored lol)

i love the moveset , if you have advance points and advance cranked i think it does great damage , and for spear for some reason crit grind stone just works equipping with assassin amulet , hell ya . o7

For a technique build, I used spear of honor blade + city spear handle. It got me through the second half of the game. The pokes prevent you from bouncing off walls, it staggers the small enemies, the range of the charged heavies might compete with the booster glaive and its just an all around easy weapon to use with the fable arts and the moveset.

my goto in my second playthrough was the -Military Shovel blade with City Spear Handle-. compared to military shovel on its own, this combo is already long ranged, and the heavy attack is a BEAST, because its quick and fast, and when u just wanna dish out dps, fable art handle for damage boost, and then shovel art spin to win

My favorite combo is the acidic crystal spear blade with the city longspear handle adjusted to scale mainly with the Advance stat. I was able to beat Laxasia for the first by abusing the heavy charged attack and the buffs of the fable arts

Try the greatsword of fate blade with the clock sword handle it has a really good moveset and speed with good damage and a good fable art on the blade (the handle one is just for the meme) hope you'll like it if you'll ever try it

Well I'd like to suggest two more combination with the great Sword Blade (hopefully that you haven't used already 😂😂😂) with Firefighter's axe handle and with the esplosive pickaxe handle and just so you have some more choice I suggest the head of the pickaxe with the military shovel handle and the acid curved Blade Blade with the curved Sword of the dancer handle.

Also, I learned through my NG+ time, you basically never want to remove a scaling off of a weapon, a D motivity and B tech is gonna be better than A technique 99% of the time

You gotta try the spear of honor handle with either live puppet axe or mjolnir superrrrr op heavy attack and can strike from long distances with a running charged attack that covers so much ground and inflicts crazy damage and the fable art is amazing i took the blade off but you can really put any blade on there honestly best weapon I've used in game so far super satisfying

I don't remember seeing it in any of your videos, but one of my favorites is the tyrant dagger blade with the winter rapier handle. No all the effective against groups and has low stagger, but it's absurdly fast, has guard parry, and I believe it's possible to get near 100% crit rate, make sure you bring the crit damage amulet. I focus on being more evasive often dodging with it more than other weapons while sneaking in a guard parry when I see an opportunity.

Puppet axe and bramble handle has become my go-to. I just can't find anything better. It's stupid strong, and fast enough that you can stop mid-combo and parry. Plus, that charged R2 comes out super fast, and launches you a mile forward. You can basically beat the game by spamming it. Some other weapons are fun, but that one gets brought out the second I start to struggle

And for the DLC part : really really HYPED about it , I had a gut feeling it would be released by this year but now I think it will not ,which is a good part as they are taking time to cook it well. As they mentioned in their letter how difficult it is to stick to the basics and core. Even tho they might experiment with new stuff I hope they put more effort on the lore and keep the game linear with different bosses and all . Then in Lies of P 2 they might go for open world stuff ,for the DLC It Can be just a lighthouse area with ships and dungeon caves too , let's see . Thanks for stopping by man o7
@@electrocrane Thank you for responding! I wanted to ask about your thoughts because I know you're a dedicated fan just as much as the community (and myself) and I believe that the LoP DLC will be amazing and I also have a couple of hopes.
I really hope that when they add the DLC they also add/fix a couple of things with the base game.
For example, I'd love to be able to fight defeated bosses without having to play the whole game again! Maybe a boss fight game mode or something? Because many bosses in the game are difficult yet fun and I'd love to be able to play against them for fun!
Also I'd hope for a small tweak on the distance you have to run from the spawn to the boss room (imagine Brotherhood 1/2 fights, Romeo, Champion Victor, Door guardian, Woman in white etc.) these quality of life changes would make the game significantly better because it's less time wasted running and more fighting. The best spawns are definitely for the best fights (Laxasia and Nameless puppet).
They had no delay between fighting and going spawning in. This made the boss fights incredibly fun and less of a chore regardless of whether or not you lost because it was quick to start again.
You could argue it's a "souls" experience but the game clearly wants to be more casual since they removed and included more beginner level stuff such as: No weapon requirements (such as level/build), Skins not affecting stats (which means you can use ANY skin without a downside), rally mechanic for trying to parry (rewarding failure), leaving souls at the front of the boss fight (allowing you to upgrade yourself after losing a boss fight), re-spec for different builds (using the statue and Gold coin fruit), the list goes on and on.
Lies of P is a souls-like. But it's also remodeling to become consumer friendly regardless of who plays. That is why it is ALMOST perfect. I would love a couple of quality of life changes to allow the player to experience the game more rather than copying a specific formula that makes gamers rip out their hair and smash their controllers (I've heard stories).
So yeah that's my thoughts on a possible update!

@electrocrane yehh the main sell for this weapon though is the stagger. With the wrench head the heavy charged is just fast enough that you can hit most boss openings

I went with a motivity build, and for a while I followed Fextralife's Stormsteel Templar build, but found the sword too slow for my liking, especially when I ran into Laxasia. That's when I decided to combine a couple weapons together which actually tore her ass a new one:
For her first phase, I went with Acidic Crystal Spear Blade + Pistol Rock Drill Handle. For her second phase, I went with Salamander Dagger Blade + Mjolnir handle. Both handles had motivity cranks, which gave them an A rank in Motivity. They're both pretty fast for motivity weapons.

I legit just tried the Acidic Great Curved Sword + Master Chef's handle on a whim and it does decent ADV and TEC damage. I had used Puppet Sabre Blade + Bramble Curved Sword handle with an additional Motivity Crank ever since first playing the game (I'm on run 7 now lol) with a Cricket/Balance build. Hope you get to try these out if you haven't already! :D
(As an additional bonus, I wanna see how you feel about Blind Man's Double Headed Spear Blade + Motiv-Cranked Bramble Handle. It does ok damage at +2 upgrade, but I would like to see the +10 version of the blade if you have it, to see if the experiment is worth continuing. I'm just slapping random shit together now bc I'm bored lol)
