I had 1 injection on my foot plantar fasciitis. Didn't want to go that direction but I chose to do it that was several years ago never got it back again. But I continue to roll the bottom of my feet for preventative. Thanks for the info.
Hi Jen, I'm experiencing SLAP tear in my shoulder accompanied with bicep tendon inflammation/degeneration, also OA developed in my shoulder cartilage as humerus dislocated from capsule (no surgery yet). I got injured exact two years ago (Nov/2019). I've taken 3 corticoid injection over the one year period (2021 March - May - Aug). I have to admit the pain had almost gone, also range of motion had drawn near to normal but now the pain is again popping up - not in that intensity as before but still limited to do gymnastics and calisthenics at full scope. Mornings when I get up are bad:( I always need to adjust exercises to avoid/limit pain but not always possible to train in totally pain-free zone but trying to not go beyond 5-7 scale out of 10, where 10 is the most painful. I'm starting to get hopeless that my injury/pain will never come off. I'm also doing rehab 1.5 year but still shoulder issue/pain persists. What would you suggest to do? Can you help me somehow? Your channel is great and also following plenty of your exercises. I wish you all the best and will appreciate any response from you:) Kind Regards, Matus
Have you had it checked out recently? It can be great to work on upper back range of motion and scapular stability/mobility! There is some reason you are putting more tension on your biceps so it would be good to explore why and how you can slowly progress your biceps loading. Maybe eccentric curls with light weight to start comfortably loading! Hope that helps!
Bringing down inflammation with a shot, could actually prevent injury induced arthritis. That is if all you need is a little time to heal. Arthritis that is injury induced is caused by repeated or prolonged inflammation.

Thanks for sharing! Injections could definitely give people temporary relief to work more on different exercises and rehab!
How long Cortisone injection will help in pain? & when it’s effect starts after taking shot which type of cortisone is good
It really depends, but I would recommend trying out some of these tips as well!
