You should do those trains that run from Prague to the Bavarian border, the town on the German side is called "Bayerische Eisenstein" and the town on the Czech side is called "Zelezna Ruda - Alzbetin". The CZ-D and CD-DB border runs right through the middle of the station, and German and Czech trains share platforms and tracks. One cool thing it seems is that the Czech trains run old 1970s-80s stuff, non-AC coaches, and the final leg to the border is diesel powered.
Good idea, thanks. Currently there is no direct train from Prague, a fast t train from Prague terminates at Klatovy, then it's need to continue by passenger train. But connections are good :-)
Smart solution. I like these "cutting edges" refurbishments, but if the coaches have everything that a passenger needs, it saves the taxpayers money and provides a fair service, see no problem. I like a little bit harder padded seats. There is not an A/C, maybe better for avoiding back pains in summertime. Wi Fi onboard is a plus. Folding doors are used still in many countries, they can be shut centrally/automatically, but require a maintenance. Za mně palec nahoru. 👍
Yes, this solution is good. These coaches were originally refurbished for EuroCity and Express trains, then they moved to Rychlík (fast train) operations. I think they are suitable for this type of train and also comfy :-) Thanks so much / děkuji! :-)
With every stop you can count at least 2 to 3 minutes more time. So it really isnt huge difference which type of train you take if it stops at same route.
Děkuji moc! No v té dvojce je asi lepší najít si nějakou volnou čtyřku nebo 2 sedašky proti sobě.. Jinak vozy jsou celkem pěkné, původně byly na expresech a některých EuroCity.

Thanks so much for watching! I'll add the final summary at the end of the videos, but this video was a little different, in the part where the other videos ends, I added a train walk thru. Normally I put this at the beginning of the video, but due to the short time at the departure station, it wasn't to visit the coaches before departure (also due to lot of people in 2nd class). Btw. this train wasn't empty, it is one of the busiest trains here and especially in peak times the train is often overcrowded (expecialy between Prague and Kralupy). In peak times, this train runs every hour and can have up to 9 coaches. But I prefer to show the interior of the train without people, so I'm doing this part long before departure (if is possible) or after arriving at the terminus station. Yes, open-plan coach is better, but 1st class coach had only compartments :-) Greetings from Prague! :-)

Hello! I traveled ABpee247 several times on the R-Berounka train. And unfortunately the first class is not very well solved. The only thing that corresponds to a 1st class is a 2 + 1 configuration. But the legroom is only good for the last row of seats, but they are reserved primarily for the disabled passengers. Facing seats have a legroom similar to the 2nd class of suburban trains. I have a video from this train, I plan to publish it during the next months.

Hi, guys. Are those mentioned coaches ABpee based on the class Bt (or similar) from Vagonka Studenka, refurbished in Poland? Because, what I heard, then not only the saloon is weak, but the bogies (trucks) with miscalculated weight of the newly equipped coach with additional underframe electric switch boxes.
Really nice train! In Germany we have some of this wagons but, their don't build New 😭 Its actually the best way to travel in this compartmens My check Geography isn't the best! I know were only is Praha, Plyzen, Brno, Ostrava and Bohumin

Taky mě napadlo, že by jste mohl vyzkoušet rychlík Krušnohor. Pokud se nepletu byl by to alespoň z části nový úsek a v ABmz jste taky myslím video nedělal.
Hezký! Já bych radši jel EC, ale tohle taky není o zahození. Jen se mi zdá, že má zbytečně moc zastávek. Bee272 na rychlík úplně v pohodě. A to Aee, nevypadá špatně. Ty sedadla by šly klidně použít ve druhé třídě Expresu.
Díky! Já normálně jezdím tuto trasu EC a nebo Krušnohorem v ABmz, ale chtěl jsem zkusit R-Labe. Zastávek je opravdu moc, minimálně Praha-Podbaba mi přijde zbytečná. Jinak ten vlak je spíše využíván jako regionální rychlík, např. cestujícími z Kralup, celou trasu tím asi moc lidí nejezdí.

Super recenze, R Labe jsou celkem fajn tak jak jsou (je to spíš prodloužený spěšňák než rychlík), pohodlí je tu ale ok, šestimístné kupé jsou fajn a tu klimu člověk na to dojíždění většinu roku oželí. Ideálně bych si tu ale představoval Interpantery. Ta nízkopodlažnost, 160ka a akcelerace navíc by se využila. Nicméně, snad sem časem nepřejdou vozy z Krušnohorů namísto na podstatně delší Vysočiny, které jako jediné pokrývají kraj Vysočinu, když Ústecko má pokrytí díky Krušnohorům a EC už tak nadprůměrné. Vozy z Vysočiny bych pak naopak zase rád viděl tady a Bee272 bych nechal na zálohy. :)
Díky moc! Já myslím, že soupravy z Krušnohorů by jim nepokryly všechny obraty. Přeci jen Krušnohor jezdí ve 2 hodinovém taktu a většinou ve 4 - 5 vozech, navíc jednička je jen půlená (ABmz). Labe za normálního stavu jezdilo ve špičce v hodinovém taktu a někdy i 7 až 8-vozové.. Myslí, že ty soupravy z Krušnohorů půjdou na Vysočinu, tak je jich více potřeba.. a klimatizované Aee145 pak můžou na R-Labe nahradit Aee152. Ano, Panter by se na to časté zastavování hodil více :-)

Úplně normálně, video je točené v únoru, kdy se cestovat dalo. U každého videa mám v popisku dole, kdy bylo točené.
