Believe it or not, I still watching your 15 mins at-home workout a lot. It was my 1st and most favorite workout online videos even though I'm not a beginner anymore.
I did that same detour but in reverse in 2019. Loved the views of Jack from the Jackita Ridge Trail, but the PNT portion was just as bad when I did it. Best of luck on your journey!
That"s super interesting. Waiting for my permit to start this summer. There will be many first time. Sleeping in the wild. Before it was just in campsite. With the food also, anyway great video. Hope you don't mind if I have some questions Respect Bart
@HappyJacksChannel Ah, well I do appreciate. Cause I have received the PCTA answered. It's been approved. Start date in July but I already start to train. I need to be ready. How many days did it take you please to walk the trail? Bart
Well my pace was a bit faster than normal 90 something days I think planning 4-5 months for a sobo is good, starting in July you want to be through the high sierras before the end of Sept
@HappyJacksChannel Right, I see. Then it might be better to ask for a bit more days on the trail. I actually asked 3 months. So could be safer to ask for 15/20 more days. With the possibility to finish in between I guess
OOF...Running a piece of thread through it with a needle is clutch..leave the threa hanging out and it drains while you walk and it wont close up...no cutting needed. SUA SPONTE

Thanks Gabe!!
Thank you for uploading these videos, so interesting to see, and the scenery looks amazing!
Loving these, thanks so much for making them. We’re heading SOBO this summer (as long as we are granted the time off) 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Anyways, thanks again!
You mentioned getting giardia. Were you filtering your water? Was the woman with the chihuahua filtering her water?
25:35 Oh interesting. I was working at the Cedar Cr fire at that time. I work for a private contractor hand crew out of the gorge..
You're back! Hope your videos get the views they deserve this trail around!!
