A ride on PACER Class 142 at the Mid-Norfolk Railway 2024

A return journey at the Mid-Norfolk Railway from Dereham to Thuxton on British Rail Class 142 'Pacer' unit 142061.
Luckily the 25MPH heritage railway speed limit reduces the bouncing!
Consists DMS 55711 & DMSL 55757 in unbranded Northern Rail livery.
Owned by the MNRPT, arrived at the MNR in September 2020.
A Class 142 model in N Gauge is manufactured by Dapol. Northern Rail livery product number is 2D-142-006 (Analogue) & 2D-142-006D (DCC).

These Leyland Nationals always were monstrously ugly and uncomfortable vehicles. Serviceable perhaps, but best forgotten!
