Beautiful job Jason. You carry your grandfather's legacy so very well. He was always one of my dad's favorites and became one of mine as well (I was very young during his heyday). Ronnie Milsap is in that same stratosphere. I began playing piano, beginning at 7, and continued until my life's priorities changed with career and family obligations about twenty years later. I am 68 now and retired, but I returned to my music eight years ago. The Cramer influence is still with me and I appreciate it now more than ever. As with Mike below, "Last Date" has a special place in my repertoire. Thank you so much for the inspiring video.
Jason, this is by far one of the most beautiful renditions of that old Ronnie Milsap song I've heard. I'm sure your grandfather must be looking down and beaming with pride at your accomplishments. Fun fact. Ronnie was inspired to write this tune after hearing Elvis' version of Kentucky Rain, written by the late great Eddie Rabbitt. And honestly, I would love to hear you play a rendition of it. You've just gained a lifetime fan.
Love your music, Style and stage presence etc... Your grandfather was my first and still biggest influence in learning to play piano. I started at age 4 and, “Last Date” was the first song I ever learned to play. I wasn’t very good mind you at age 4 LOL 😂😂😂. But it was all because of your grand dad. I love the fact you’re carrying on his legacy. Keep it up, man! You’re awesome!!!👍👍👍.
Love this song. Brings back so many memories for me.
One of my favourites.
Just beautiful!!!
Most excellent job
Excellent cover of the song! Really helped me understand a good finger technique to use on this piece.
