If you've ever had Thai cuisine, chances are your first foray into it was the mega-popular Pad Thai (or Thai 101 as I like to refer to it). And once you had this gateway dish, you likely became hooked on Thai altogether because it's one of the greatest cuisines in the universe. In case you didn't have it before, Pad Thai is a rice noodle dish filled with veggies, typically a protein such as tofu, chicken and/or shrimp, and tossed together in a sweet and savory sauce that stems from the sour flavors of tamarind and sweetness of fish sauce (and, in my case, brown sugar). My spin on this classic takes only 30 minutes from start to finish and is as easy and delicious as it gets!

Been watching you for years. Teach us some more Thai dishes. I love Thai food.
Thank you! Will work on it!
Looks marvelous! Thank you!!
I need to try that this week! Thanks!
Thanks. Looks easy enough
Love it. Going to have to make that. Excellent recipe...
Wow! I got to try this
nicely done!
Great recipe and video again as always. Thanks Jeffrey.
I’ve been wanting to give this a try! I have the noodles already:) Thanks for the video!
oh my God!!! Jeffery, you’ve done it again and without an IP!!! It’s eight thirty in the morning here in Los Angeles area and my mouth is watering for Pad Thai…again your step by step instructions have made me ready to make another of your dishes…Another cookbook?🤫
Oh I’m so glad!
Oh that looks so delicious!!! I want to try this. Thank you for sharing your recipe, tips and tricks! ❤
Yay, thank you, Jeffrey!
Thank you for the inspiration Jeffrey! I'll have to check out that tamarind stuff. Very interesting! Keep up the good work!
I love Pad Thai as well jeffrey. So glad I found your recipe. Thank you.
Sooooo good! Made it for dinner tonight, best recipe for pad Thai that I’ve tried, and I have tried a LOT.
I agree with an earlier post - more Thai recipes (especially if they’re this good)!
I’m so happy to hear it!
Delicious!!! I love pad Thai just wish my wife shared my love of it!
Made this last night. YUM!
Yay!
In a word - YUM! ❤
I’ll always be a fan of your channel. I’ve been a loyal follower for years, much like most of us. I have purchased all of your books on day 1 from Amazon, with tremendous praise from our family with every idea that you’ve created. Your name is synonymous with the IP community. I’m glad that you’re branching outside of the IP, with your repertoire of recipes and ideas. However nowadays it almost seems like you should rename your channel, or create one that is tied in with it. I’m not being picky here.. believe me. You have won and captured millions of viewers throughout the world, with your sensational IP recipes. But now that you are going outside the scope of the IP, you need to Chefifify yourself, (that’s not even a word) but possibly rename or invent a channel that also includes the simple, quick, love for food, name or idea.
Much love to you, Richard, and all of your family. Your success is not limited just to the IP.
With respect, love, and a continued fan of your talents,
Mike
Appreciate your kindness and suggestions!
Holy Mackerel ... where have you been all my life! Your recipes are AMAZING!!!
Man, that looks great. Now Im hungry. Just need to add some Thai chili pepper flakes. 😀
That looks awesome, and not difficult. I already have most of the ingredients, so I will try it!
So easy and pleasy!
Thanks so much for this! By the way, you're looking especially vibrant these days. Keep it up whatever that may be ☺️
Thank you!
Wow! So happy to have found you! Like you, pad Thai is my yardstick for Thai food! Just moved to Reno recently, which has 19 Thai restaurants. I’ve been to 18 of them! Think I’m addicted to Thai!
It’s sooo good!
Looks awesome. I miss your IP versions.
Appreciate the branching out from the Instant Pot. Good stuff.
Glad you do!
Looks delicious. My wife usually makes the pad Thai. Now I can show off.
I adore Pad Thai...I could eat it almost every night. However I'd LOVE for you to make spring rolls! Thai spring rolls! My local Thai place no longer offers them and it broke my heart!!
Yes so easy and delicious.
Enjoyed the video. Made me hungry.
Did I hallucinate or did I catch sight of a piano around the corner. Do either you or Richard play?
Noodles that one then, great, thanking you. 😅
How do you add heat? (Spicy)
Outstanding as always! Step by step and it always looks fun and simple! Well done and thank you! Keep them coming please!!
Thank you!
What happened with using the IP? I learned how to use mine following your recipes!!
I dedicated the past 7 years of my life writing recipes and 4 books for it. I think I’ve earned trying out some new things. Try these like you tried those and I assure you you’ll be happy with the new recipes as well. Just as easy and great!
Where can I find the noodle brand in Ottawa, Canada?
Ottawa boy myself. Any of the large national chains have rice noodles. Loblaws, Metro, Food Basics, etc. For a larger selection, the Asian superstore T&T on Hunt Club Rd. next to the airport is great. Cheerz
@@mittelfruh ok thanks
What about IP?
👍👍👍👍👍
This looks Delicious!!!! Not a Big Fan of TOFU and Peanuts.
I'm allergic to oysters...what to use instead of oyster sauce?
It’s leave it out
Yum I will try this. Hope I can find the tamarind sauce in Natural grocers because now I want to make this tonight.
Missed the instant pot 😢
I guess we're not using the pressure cooker anymore? Did it break?
Guess you didn't watch the video? He explains at the 0:45 mark ;-)
@@mittelfruh I guess I skipped over that.
@@todphillips6391 Ah OK, no worries. Cheerz
No Chillies?
Fine except for absence of chop sticks.
I don’t have a stove, I live in an in-law, only my instant pot….🤦🏼♀️
Get an induction hot plate, well worth it.
If your ip has a saute function you could probably still make it in the ip
Mandy in the Making has a good IP Pad Thai recipe.
You can make the Pad Thai in the Instant Pot without all these steps.
All these ingredients are expensive and this dish is tedious. I'll stick to take out.
Not sure about your part of the world, but these ingredients aren't very $$, plus you're not using much of each. A bit of an oxymoron too, thinking take-out is less expensive ;-)
